US Troops Find Abused Cheetah Cubs in Ethiopia

When US soldiers aren't busy fighting terrorists, they can often be found engaging in some humanitarian endeavor like building playgrounds for Iraqi children or passing out school supplies. While performing humanitarian work in a remote part of Ethiopia, US counterterrorism troops found two cheetah cubs being abused. They fed the cubs and notified Wildlife officials in both the U.S. and Ethiopia's capital. The man who was in illegal possession of the animals refused to turn them over without being paid $1,000 each. Ethiopian government officials are to visit the area on Saturday and it is hoped the animals will be removed to safety then.

Without the benevolent intervention of US troops in this and many other situations around the world, evil and injustice would go unreported and unchallenged. Surely even our peacenik lefties can support this mission and all the other good works done by the U.S. military.

If you see an update to this story, please pass it along.
