Online Election Result Links

9:15 PM EST Update --Early Goings: The Good, the Bad and the Democrats!

HOUSE: A handful of the critical House seats in Indiana and Kentucky look like they are lost. But on the other hand the GOP challengers in House races in Georgia are doing well.

Negron, the Foley replacement is running neck and neck with the Democrat Mahoney.

Senate: Networks have projected losses for the GOP in both Pennsylvania and Ohio. Also, the felon, Menendez, in New Jersey is projected to win. Lieberman in Connecticut is projected to win. Klobuchar wins for the Dems in Minnesota. Stabenow (D) wins in Michigan.

And at 9:21 Fox is projecting Cardin wins in Maryland.

9:30 Fox projecting Chafee loses to Whitehouse in Rhode Island.

If you get frustrated waiting for the latest results in a race you are following, I posted a few links to online results for specific races and states:

  • In Georgia, two congressional districts may flip to the GOP. GA-8 with Republican challenger Collins and Burns the challenger in Georgia-12. Statewide results here.
  • In Florida, I'm following the write-in campaign of Joe Negron who seeks to replace Mark Foley in Congressional District 16.
  • In Indiana, three GOP congresional incumbents are in trouble: Hostettler, Chocola and Sodrel. Results here.
  • Kentucky has two vulnerable GOP congressional incumbents: Lewis in KY-2 and Nortrup in KY-3. Lewis is looking good in early returns. Northrup is running even.
  • In the Michigan Senate race, Republican challenger Bouchard is attempting to unseat Democrat Stabenow.
  • Minnesota has an open Senate Seat. I'm rooting for Kennedy over Democrat Klobouchar.
  • Missouri results for the Talent vs. McCaskill Senate race are here.
  • Conrad Burns is trying to hang on after a stiff challenge from Tester in Montana.
  • Results for the Ohio Senate race are here. Will DeWine (R) hang on?
  • And here's Rhode Island in case anyone cares whether Lincoln Chafee is re-elected.

For more races and a fairly good presentation, CNN usually has a well thought out page for election results. Too bad their broadcast isn't as good.

I'll be updating results throughout the evening, so feel free to drop a comment on races of particular interest.
