D Day in Color

So many fine historical posts on D Day today, but so many of those memories are in black and white. I did find this video in color. A rarity at the time:

Also President Bush's remarks at the 2004 D Day commemoration in France were overshadowed by the death of President Reagan that day. Still, the conclusion of his speech was a moving tribute to the sacrifice for freedom all who are alive today enjoy:
