I've already done a story this week on Obama's huge drop in job approval in the latest polls. He's at a lower level of approval at this point in his presidency than any predecessor in modern times.
So this new twist from Public Policy Polling won't surprise many:
Perhaps the greatest measure of Obama's declining support is that just 50% of voters now say they prefer having him as President to George W. Bush, with 44% saying they'd rather have his predecessor. Given the horrendous approval ratings Bush showed during his final term that's somewhat of a surprise and an indication that voters are increasingly placing the blame on Obama for the country's difficulties instead of giving him space because of the tough situation he inherited. If your pining for a return of class over crass, walk down memory lane with the Bush Thankathon we launched last year.
And from that roundup of the Bush years, this excellent video:
The classless incompetence of Barack Obama may be the best thing to cement George Bush's legacy of sound policy in the annals of history!
