Obama Attacks Republicans....AGAIN... Tries to Blame Job Losses on GOP!

Democrats passed every budget busting bill he backed so how can he blame the GOP?

Easy... he's an ASS!

Photobucket BUFFALO, New York (Reuters) – President Barack Obama defended his administration's economic recovery efforts on Thursday and accused Republicans of trying to block Democratic policies for political gain.

With public anxiety over the fragile economy threatening Obama's Democrats in November's congressional elections, he tried to turn the tables on Republican critics, accusing them of sitting on the sidelines last year when he was tackling the financial crisis.

Obama, speaking to factory workers in Buffalo, New York, made the case that his administration acted "boldly and quickly" to avert another Great Depression and move the country on the path to recovery.

Touting the latest government reports showing job growth for the fourth straight month, Obama argued that his efforts were working despite a 9.9 percent unemployment rate in April.
...
Later, at a Democratic fund-raising speech in Manhattan, Obama was blistering in his criticism of Republicans who are poised to pick up seats against Democratic majorities in November elections for the U.S. House of Representatives and the Senate.

Obama said Republicans have "done their best to gum up the works" and said they generated much of the country's fiscal deficit that they now complain about.
Republicans caused the deficit? Really? Obama is set to saddle the American taxpayer with more debt than all the Presidents since George Washington to George Bush combined and he's trying to say Republicans caused the debt crisis? Who will believe such a lie? And which bills did the GOP stop?

Obama went on to say:
"Their [GOP] basic attitude has been, if Democrats lose, we win. After they drove the car in the ditch, made it as difficult as possible for us to pull it back, now they want the keys back. No. They can't drive. We don't want to have to go back in the ditch," he said.
Is this more of the kind of healing post partisan rhetoric he promised during the campaign? No, but it's par for the course from a president who when he isn't golfing is working to divide and polarize America. Early on, Obama rejected every GOP idea, even telling Senator Jon Kyl that "I won" and dismissing Kyl's idea to stimulate job production. Now he complains?

Republicans to Take Back the Keys!

Perhaps Obama should read th latest National Journal poll. Like so many others in recent months, it says loud and clear that the GOP will be getting those keys back sooner or later!

Only 39% of voters said they would vote to re-elect Pres. Obama if the election were held today, while 50% say they would vote for someone else. A quarter of voters would definitely vote to re-elect Obama, while 37% would definitely vote for someone else.
When Obama signed the Stimulus bill, loaded with pork and favors for his union friends, he promised that it "will create or save 3.5 million jobs." Instead, we've lost nearly 3.5 million jobs and unemployment remains well above the level Obama promised if Congress passed his trillion dollar stimulus boondoggle.

At the time of Obama's election in 2008 It was clear to many of us that the man had neither the experience or the skills necessary to put America back to work. That truth is now obvious even to many of those who voted for him. They won't make that same mistake again! He can't blame his mistakes on the GOP and get away with it when so many Americans are looking for answers, looking for leadership and looking for work!
