Timeline of Story of Libya Attack Shows Shifting Cover Stories from Obama Administration

And Obama is front and center in the cover up!

It's a long report from Fox News Special Report but it traces the entire evolving story of the cover up of the attacks in Libya:

The American people have a right to answers BEFORE the election. If a Republican was in the White House the rest of the so-called "news" media would be beating down the doors demanding the truth!

Events in the Middle East Expose the Obama Lie: "Al Queda is on the Path to Defeat"

Bin Laden may be dead but that doesn't mean Obama has won the War on Terror!

Consider this video a companion with the post below:

And considering how often Obama "spikes the football" of bin Laden's death is it any wonder that violent demonstrations take place in the Middle East with chants of "Obama, Obama, we are ALL Osama?"

Like the economy, Obama has made our national security WORSE than it was four years ago!

Lies and Coverup of Obama's Benghazi-Gate

The Obama Administration knew almost immediately that this was a planned terrorist attack yet persists in lying about it!

Here's an outline of the latest news on the attack against our Consulate in Benghazi on September 11th with left our Ambassador and three other Americans, including two Navy Seals, dead:
  • Intercepts showed AQ terrorists celebrating success hours after Benghazi attack.
  • Yahoo News: White House treated Benghazi as a terrorist attack on “Day One.”
  • Obama Administration deleted State Dept. online security briefing saying that there were no credible threats from Al Queda against diplomatic personnel on September 11th.
  • On Thursday, Defense Secretary Leon Panetta joined the chorus of other Administration officials in describing this as a planned terrorist attack.
Yet the Administration sent UN Ambassador Susan Rice out on five Sunday shows following the attack insisting that this was a "spontaneous" attack that resulted from a protest of the film. Never mind that there is no evidence of any protest prior to the attack.

More questions continue to be raised about the Administration's handling of this attack and lack of preparation on September 11th. Yet when these matters are raised those asking questions are fobbed off with the excuse that an investigation is underway.

But an investigation is NOT underway. The FBI team sent to Libya is stuck in the capital of Tripoli. CNN reports that the site of the Benghazi attack is unsecured with doubt that the scene will provide much in the way of evidence leading to the attackers.

The Obama Administration and campaign have accused Republicans who ask critical questions of playing politics. Yet this merely highlights the Administrations own  efforts to bolster Obama's failed tough guy image by avoiding accountability for this attack and hiding behind an non-existent investigation. Meanwhile, Obama continues to campaign with the refrain "al Qaeda is on the path to defeat, bin Laden is dead. "

In the wake of the original September 11, 2001 attacks there was a constant drumbeat in the media demanding answers. "Connect the dots" was a common phrase. In the wake of this attack the media seemed more interested in attacking Mitt Romney than they did in demanding answers from the Obama Administration. Even weeks after the event much of the media demonstrates a curious lack of interest.

It's becoming increasingly obvious that the incompetence and lack of leadership which is the hallmark of Obama's failed economic policy is also the key factor in this failure of Obama's foreign policy and national security. Obama's continued spiking of the football over killing bin Laden cannot coverup these facts. It only makes matters worse!

Another Victim of Obama's Socialist "Gimme" Campaign

A total dependent on government for everything from phone to food!

Mitt Romney got beat up pretty bad by the "news" media that works for the benefit of Obama when he mistakenly said 47% of Americans are "victims" on the dole. While the figure of 47% might be a bit high, it wasn't that far off the mark.

Look at this woman protesting outside a Romney rally in Cleveland:

Who is paying for this woman's "Obama Phone?" YOU ARE!

This woman is the perfect example of a victim of the socialist welfare state. Her whole life is focused on what government is going to do for her. Forget about John F. Kennedy's "ask not what your country can do for you," this woman represents the gimme mindset of the socialist welfare state that actually retards the economic growth that would help this woman and those like her from being successful citizen participants in the capitalist system.

Like those who lined up in Detroit to get cash from "Obama's stash" this woman is a victim of the socialist welfare state's false promise. Yet, she'll vote for Obama no matter what!

2nd Quarter GDP Slashed to 1.3%

Is this what Obama meant by Recovery Summer?

If you needed proof that things are getting worse, not better, here it is.

Not enough growth to put millions of Americans who are currently unemployed back to work. Not enough growth to keep the federal deficit from exploding further.

The economy is basically flat and it's not George Bush's fault!

Mia Love, Piss Mohammed and 55% of Small Business Owners Blame Obama

Quick takes on three important stories...

  • Mia Love Gets Racist Mail

You remember Mia Love? The Mayor of Saratoga Springs Utah who is running for Congress and made a real splash addressing the GOP Convention. She's in a strong bid to become the first black Republican woman to win a seat in Congress.

So, naturally Democrat racists want to take her down. She received a vile, racist package in the mail this week. It's not the first time. Pretty obvious it wasn't sent by a Republican. It fits a long line of racist attacks on Republicans from Clarence Thomas, Michael Steele, Condi Rice, Herman Cain and others.

Seems the old Ku Klux Klan is  alive and well in it's birthplace in the Democrat Party!

  • 55% Small Business Owners Blame Obama for Bad Business Climate. And they would not start a business today.

  • Piss Mohammed
Writing at National Review Mario Loyola makes note of Obama's speech to the U.N. where he bent over backwards to apologize to Muslims for the video that he claims is the sole cause of violence throughout the Muslim world. But just blocks from where Obama was speaking a work of "art" subsidized with U.S. taxpayer dollars showing a crucifix in urine is on display. Loyola suggests that a similar piece featuring Mohammed be hung along side. And when the predictable reaction occurs point out:
Every last person who complains will have to explain why they said nothing during the 20-plus years that the revolting Piss Christ has been touring art galleries around the world. They will be forced either to treat Islam and Christianity the same (i.e., stop trashing the latter) or finally admit the cowardly truth, which is that their degree of respect for any given religion is proportional to its proponents’s propensity for violence.

Great New Ad: "By His Own Admission" Obama Has Failed to Bring Change

Why should he have another four years offering nothing than more empty promises?

Another in the series of Obama in his own words. But don't expect the "news" media to pick up on the line...

Obama: 2008 "I'm running to solve problems we talk about year after year."

And yet four years later we are still talking about solving the same problems and Obama admits he "can't change Washington from the inside." So, let's get him out and let Romney do the job!

Beware Obama's October Surprise

The perfect time for Obama to "wag the dog" is a strike on Libya's terrorists just before a presidential debate!

Forget all the lies and incompetence the Obama Administration has demonstrated over the killing of four American diplomatic personnel in Libya. Remember that the Chicago crowd lives by the dictum "let no crisis go to waste."

While we are all scratching our heads wondering how this Obama dares criticize Mitt Romney as the guy who "shoots first, aim later" the Administration may very well be planning a military response to the attacks. After all, multiple reports confirm that the attackers and their location are well known. So, what's the delay in going after them? Would it have anything to do with politics?

It's not hard to imagine a scenario where Obama is starting to feel the heat from Romney in the first debate with the polls turning in favor of the GOP. With two debates to go (schedule) I'd say it's a safe bet that we see action taken before the last debate if not sooner.

Obama stakes his claim to be a strong president on the fact that the gave the final OK to kill Bin Laden. Never mind that killing bin Laden is NOT a substitute for foreign policy or national defense! He'll make the same play again if he finds himself in a corner.

However, failure to protect our Ambassador and to project a coherent policy in the Middle East and elsewhere won't be erased because of another successful military operation. It's not like Obama is pulling the trigger. To the contrary, his Administration is pulling the rug out from under the U.S. Military!

Obama Calls Anti-U.S. Protests and Death of Ambassador "Bumps in the Road"

Imagine the media firestorm that would erupt if Romney said something so outrageous!

It happened the day after the attacks on our embassy in Libya and the protests in Egypt. An interview by Steve Kroft of CBS's 60 Minutes:
Kroft: Have the events that took place in the Middle East, the recent events in the Middle East given you any pause about your support for the governments that have come to power following the Arab Spring?
Obama: Well, I'd said even at the time that this is going to be a rocky path. The question presumes that somehow we could have stopped this wave of change. I think it was absolutely the right thing for us to do to align ourselves with democracy, universal rights, a notion that people have to be able to participate in their own governance. But I was pretty certain and continue to be pretty certain that there are going to be bumps in the road because, you know, in a lot of these places, the one organizing principle has been Islam. The one part of society that hasn't been controlled completely by the government.
Some Bump. Some Road

Photobucket
Americans killed in "bumps in the road" in Libya
Meanwhile the Administration continues to pursue the excuse that all this is due to a silly film. Obama repeated that line again in his speech to the United Nations. Yet, as I have pointed out repeatedly, radical Muslims were rioting in the Middle East in May, chanting "Obama we are all Osama," [video] long before this film was available on You Tube.

The Diary of Ambassador Stevens, found in the wreckage of our Consulate in Benghazi by a CNN reporter (were classified documents, including contacts in Libya also left to be discovered by radicals?) revealed that the Ambassador worried about his security and threats made against his life. Any question to the Obama Administration on this score meets a sharp rebuff. A spokesperson for Hillary Clinton went ballistic, using the "F" word when one reporter pressed the point.

Day by day we continue to see incompetence on display in the Obama Administration. And worse than incompetence is the appearance of indifference to the consequences and evasion from the truth that our foreign policy is NOT in better shape now than it was four years ago. The "news" media had a field day when an irate Iraqi threw a shoe at George W. Bush. Much of the Muslim world is throwing the shoe store at Obama and yet the media seems unwilling to demand answers for a failed policy!

A new ad spells out the critical missing component in Obama's foreign policy: LEADERSHIP!

Muslim World Continues to Burn with Anti U.S. Rage While Obama's Libya Lie is Exposed

They threw a shoe at George Bush. They threw a shoe store at Barack Obama!

“One of the proudest things of my three years in office is helping to restore a sense of respect for America around the world."
-- Barack Obama, February 2012

More at the Daily Mail. Also protests in Indonesia, Kashmir, Iraq, Iran, Germany and Sri Lanka. In Pakistan Friday was a "Day of Love" for the Prophet Mohammed in which 19 people were "loved" to death in riots.

Obama's Lie on Libya Now Bare for All to See

The big lie coming from the Obama Administration that the attacks on Libya were part of a "spontaneous" protest that went wrong and just happened to coincide with September 11th has unraveled.

Good commentary on that from Michael Graham writing in the Boston Herald where he likens the transparent lies coming from the Obama Administration to those told by his teenage son or daughter caught in some misdeed:
In the era of battling fact-checkers, I’ve developed a new standard for testing the truth of claims being made by politicians: Would I believe what they’re saying if I heard it coming from the mouth of my teenage son?
It works like this: Four Americans, including local hero Glen Doherty, are killed in an attack on our consulate in Libya. The White House immediately insists that their deaths have — and I’m quoting White House spokesman Jay Carney — “nothing to do with U.S. policy.” It’s all just a reaction to an offensive, anti-Muhammad YouTube video.
So I look Carney in the eye and I think to myself: “Let me see if I’ve got this straight: A group of men armed with AK-47s and rocket-propelled grenades just happens to gather outside our consulate for a “spontaneous” protest, they just happen to organize a successful two-wave attack on the compound and, by sheer coincidence, someone inside lets them know where Ambassador Christopher Stevens is hiding. Oh, and all this happened on the anniversary of 9/11 and you’re telling me it wasn’t a planned attack?”
And then I send the White House spokesflak to his room. Or I would have, anyway, if he’d been my son.
... Of course the Obama administration’s story was bogus. The Libyans said so, a member of the administration’s own counter-terrorism office said so and, most important, your good sense said so. Which is why nobody’s surprised to learn that, far from the “movie-review-gone-horribly-wrong” scenario from the White House, we now know there had been warnings of an attack for days, Ambassador Stevens openly worried about his safety and it appears a former Gitmo detainee and al-Qaida member was directly involved.
In fact CBS News reports that witnesses say there was no anti-American protest that day at all. None. Just a coordinated attack against an American target by a terrorist group on 9/11. So what was the White House’s response when caught red-handed by the facts? Carney promptly announced that they’d been saying the same thing all along: “It’s self-evident that what happened in Benghazi was a terrorist attack,” he said with a shrug. Which is exactly what a teenager will do if you let him. Your job, as a parent and a voter, is to not let him get away with it.
Scott Paulson from CBS Radio in Washington, put it this way:
With Americans watching the nearing of the date September 11, 2012 on the calendar for weeks – if not months – and dreading the stark reality that something disastrous may happen to innocent Americans again, the president and his political cronies refused to believe what happened. Yet Americans are supposed to have faith in them, their judgment, trust their words and actions – and sit idly by as they denounce anyone who dares to try to challenge their words.
... More than what these national leaders and politicians are doing to Americans, consider what they are they telling the rest of the world – the rest of the world who figured out the nation was 9/11-attacked again as soon as it happened. Our leaders told the world that we are a nation led by either ignorance via doubt or by liars. Neither, of course, is an admirable trait to display when one claims to be “the” world leader. Beyond causing America to be embarrassed throughout the world, last week’s denial of what happened on 9/11/2012 makes us look incredibly weak.
Even the thought of blaming the anti-Islamic, Mohammad-disgracing movie for the most recent 9/11 attack on innocent Americans was ignorant – and carrying the thought out through words from the nation’s capital via our top leaders was incredibly inappropriate, totally embarrassing, extremely America-weakening, and – most of all – an ignorant stunt to try to pass on to America and the world.
What does it say about an Administration that tries to cover their failure by lying about an attack on the United States on September 11th? Would you trust them with national security for another four years?

Our economy is not better off than it was four years ago and neither is our position in the world!

Ups and Downs but Essentially a Tied Race Between Romney and Obama

Despite massive spending by Obama and a 10 to 1 or more liberal media advantage!

Here's the Gallup Poll for Thursday:

Captursefwsefe_zpsb83cf509

The Rasmussen Daily Tracking Poll has been bouncing up and down but like the Gallup shows a race that is essentially tied. Other national polls which show Obama with a large lead are flawed by oversampling of Democrats:

Photobucket

In a posting at Da Tech Guy, a series of graphs showing that numbers of Democrats and Republicans are fairly evenly matched in most years. Since 2012 is NOT 2008 it is highly unlikely that Democrat turnout will match that record year. Therefore, every poll showing a disproportionately large Democrat sample is heavily flawed!

Another graph from The Examiner shows the massive spending advantage the Obama campaign has enjoyed over the Romney campaign in key states:
Photobucket

Obama also has twice as many paid staff as Romney does. Romney will need to close that gap and quick.

It's amazing that with Obama's massive media advantage in which negative stories about Romney dominate campaign coverage while Obama's goofs are swept under the rug that the race is as close as it is.

In RARE Hardhitting Interview Obama Admits Policies and Promises Have FAILED!

But give him another chance and THIS time he promises to get it right?

Obama is used to getting softball celebrity questions. Interviews in which he's asked "is the campaign bus comfortable" are not uncommon. On September 11th when he should have been monitoring the Libyan/Egyptian crisis he was answering questions about football with "Pimp with a Limp." And of course who can forget the session with David Letterman where the TV host said to Obama "you haven't seen me naked."

But along comes an interview with Univision, the Spanish language network, in which interviewers repeatedly went after Obama for his broken promises and failed policies. On the Libya attack, Obama repeated the transparent lie that the silly Internet video was to blame, even though that phony cover story has completely unraveled. But never mind that. The lie won't be exposed since most of the media is still trying to make Romney look bad.

The big headline came when Obama admitted:
“I think that I’ve learned some lessons over the last four years and the most important lesson I’ve learned is that you can’t change Washington from the inside,” Obama said, appearing to admit his inability to fully deliver on one of the driving themes of his 2008 campaign. “You can only change it from the outside. That’s how I got elected.
Is this what Obama meant when he proclaimed "We are the ones we have been waiting for". Remember that this was the guy who sold voters in 2008 on Hope and Change with chants of "YES WE CAN." Now, it's "NO WE CAN'T?"

It's an admission that Obama has failed and that the job is bigger than his ability to manage it and provide the leadership necessary to address the critical needs and challenges facing Americans today. Time for some REAL change. Vote Romney/Ryan!

Video of Islamic Cleric Destroying Holy Bible While Insulting Christians and Jews at Cairo Protest

Do you suppose mass hysteria and rioting will sweep across the Christian world?

From AINA:
During the demonstration which was held in front of the American Embassy in Cairo on Tuesday, 9/11, a Muslim cleric named Abu Islam tore and burned the Holy Bible in front of thousands of Muslims. His action was met with applause and anti-Christian cheers from the demonstrators. Before leaving the demonstration and getting into his car, he told the crowds "next time I will urinate on it."

In one of his rare moments of clarity, New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman points out that Muslims are the first to GIVE offence to other religions while demanding (and receiving) respect for Islam.

Instead of apologizing to these backwards clowns and savages we should work to defeat them. Reagan put the Soviet Union on the "ash heap of history." Let's elect a President who can put us on the path to do the same for radical Islam!

College Professor Requires Students to Sign Pledge to Vote for Obama and Democrats

Sadly, this kind of thing is nothing new!

You might expect a story like this in North Korea where citizens must pledge to support the Dear Leader. But this is the United States!
Early last week Professor Sharon Sweet at Brevard Community College (BCC) allegedly told students to sign a pledge that reads: “I pledge to vote for President Obama and Democrats up and down the ticket.” A college professor has been placed on leave after she allegedly forced her class to sign a pledge to vote for President Obama in the 2012 elections. The pledge was printed off of GottaVote.org, a website funded by the Obama campaign.
It's not like this kind of thing is unheard of. Earlier this year we had an 8th grade teacher requiring students to do research on Mitt Romney's weak points and forward their work to the Obama campaign. No such assignment was made for Obama's weak points. And who can forget the multiple episodes of school children in 2009 forced to sing praises to Obama? Children singing "Hooray Mr. President, you are number one!" sounds like just the kind of thing you would hear in North Korea. And then, this one, also from 2009:

The children above chant "change has come, change has come. Uniting blacks and whites. Being both Obama cannot take sides.... Education is the key. Education is the secret." Yep... "education is the secret" to indoctrinating young students with liberal views. And in another school on Obama's Inauguration Day, this refrain:
Welcome Barack Obama He’ll save the day – hip hip hooray Barack Obama – hip hip hooray Barack Obama – hip hip hooray Barack Obama – hip hip hooray Barack Obama!
Taxpayer funded schools abusing the children, and in the Florida college case adults. in their care. So what if it's for the cause right? Imagine what would happen if a teacher did the same on behalf of Mitt Romney!

Obama Hides Failure of His Foreign Policy in Wake of Middle East Attacks

UPDATE: U.S. Intelligence warned of threat to embassy in Egypt! No wonder Obama won't answer questions!

Their repeated scripted denials don't stand up to the facts!

Deja Vu. Carter and Obama

"The natural relationship between Islam and the United States is one of friendship ... We have the deepest respect and reverence for Islam.” --Jimmy Carter February, 1980.

“I’ve come here ... to seek a new beginning between the United States and Muslims around the world, one based on mutual interest and mutual respect.”-- Barack Obama, June 2009

In the wake of the biggest attack on America since the original September 11th the Obama Administration sent out only one representative to put across their message on the Sunday news shows. UN Ambassador Susan Rice appeared on all four shows with nearly identical talking points.

First the claim that the murder of our Ambassador and embassy personnel was not pre-medidated. Rice told Jake Tapper on ABC News "what this began as, it was a spontaneous -- not a premeditated -- response to what had transpired in Cairo." Rice claimed that this protest was a response to the anti-Muslim video on You Tube and that the protest was "hijacked" by extremists with "heavier weapons."

All of this flies in the face of other reports from Libya, including statement by the Libyan President described the preparation that the attacks involved and concludes: "this leaves us with no doubt that this was preplanned, determined…predetermined."

Further contradicting the Obama Administration line, other intelligence reports indicate that there was no protest prior to the attacks. Reports also persist that the Obama Administration had advance warning from the Libyans prior to the murder of our Ambassador. Yet White House aide Valerie Jarrett has more security on her vacation in Martha's Vineyard than our Ambassador did in Libya on September 11th even after the blow up began in Cairo earlier that day.

But even if the so-called "news" media wanted to ask as many questions about Obama's failed policy as they did about Mitt Romney's statement after the attacks they would be met with a wall of silence. Apparently the Administration has called in the Department of Justice to investigate and therefore, no further comment. This from the State Department press spokesperson on Friday:
We are not going to be in a position to talk at all about what the U.S. government may or may not be learning about how any of this happened -- not who they were, not how it happened, not what happened to Ambassador Stevens, not any of it -- until the Justice Department is ready to talk about the investigation that its got,"
And since Attorney General Holder has quite a history covering up Obama's messes one doubts whether any useful answers will be forthcoming before the November election.

World Sees Obama Failure

“One of the proudest things of my three years in office is helping to restore a sense of respect for America around the world."
-- Barack Obama, February 2012

Jake Tapper on ABC addressed this claim in his interview with Ambassador Rice:
TAPPER: President Obama pledged to repair America's relationships with the Muslim world. Why does the U.S. seem so impotent? And why is the U.S. even less popular today in some of these Muslim and Arab countries than it was four years ago?

RICE: Jake, we're not impotent. We're not even less popular, to challenge that assessment. I don't know on what basis you make that judgment. But let me -- let me point...

TAPPER: It just seems that the U.S. government is powerless as this -- as this maelstrom erupts.

RICE: It's actually the opposite. First of all, let's be clear about what transpired here. What happened this week in Cairo, in Benghazi, in many other parts of the region...

TAPPER: Tunisia, Khartoum...

RICE: ... was a result -- a direct result of a heinous and offensive video
Well, there you go. All that violence and bloodshed from a little video that few people have seen; nothing to do with Obama's policy. Who you going to believe? The Obama Administration or your lying eyes and the Pew Poll Global Opinion survey?

Hopefully we will see an ad coming up soon contrasting Obama's words with the consequences of his failure as the Middle East continues to burn with hatred for U.S. policies.

More Fallout from The Worst Foreign Policy Disaster in Decades!

"Our country is stronger, safer and more respected in the world."
President Obama, in his Weekly Radio Address
commemorating the September 11th attacks of 2001.

Three days later all hell breaks loose in the Middle East with hardly a word from Obama. As Americans were being killed in Libya and our flag ripped down in Cairo he was busy giving an interview to a Florida radio personality named "Pimp with a Limp." The day after the 9/11/12 attacks he hit the campaign trail for a fundraiser and event in Las Vegas, skipping the in person national security briefing in the week before the attacks. When a spokesperson was asked why Obama attended only 43% of these briefings, the aide responded that the President found them "not particularly interesting or useful." No surprise from a President who has spent more time fundraising and campaigning than ANY of his predecessors.

The consequence of Obama's inattention to these matters, combined with his radical left wing proclivity to take American down a peg and "lead from behind" is clear for all to see. Except of course that the same news media which jumped all over Mitt Romney, won't be bothered to ask tough questions of the President.

While most of the media is covering up for Obama's incompetence, a few editorial boards get it. Here's an editorial from Investor's Business Daily:
Journalism: In just several days the dangerous ineptitude of U.S. foreign policy has been fully exposed. But instead of reporting this meltdown, the media use it to further hurt the candidate they oppose.

In his weekly address to the nation last week commemorating the 11th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, President Obama claimed that "we've strengthened our alliances while improving our security here at home." He boasted that more than 3-1/2 years into his presidency, "our country is stronger, safer and more respected in the world."

Those assertions would be fodder for the most blistering attacks from the mainstream media if this president were a conservative Republican instead of the furthest-to-the-left Democrat ever to sit in the Oval Office.
...
What could be more symbolic of the failures of the Obama foreign policy than the contrast of hearing the president and his surrogates repeatedly touting the killing of Osama bin Laden by a U.S. Seal team with pictures of the American flag replaced by al-Qaida's menacing black standard at the U.S. Embassy in Tunis?

It's the kind of stuff that's made for TV news, and would certainly lead off the Big Three networks' evening newscasts if it were a President McCain or Bush in office.

The photos of a U.S. ambassador dying in the streets would be declared the death knell of any GOP president running for re-election.

But our media, in a chilling threat to voters' ability to choose a national leader based on accurate reporting of fact, used the Libyan disaster to attack ... Mitt Romney.

Romney laudably condemned our Cairo embassy's apology — issued before the Libyan carnage, then repeated afterward — sympathizing with the attackers.

The media immediately echoed Obama talking points and for days absurdly have made Romney's statement the story, claiming that Obama and Secretary Hillary Clinton aren't responsible for what U.S. embassies say.

The truth is that the Middle East is now on fire, precisely because of a policy of appeasement toward Islamists exemplified by that embassy statement.

That's the real issue here: The U.S. has taken a stance of provocative apologizing toward those who stand under that black al-Qaida flag.

"I've come here to Cairo," Obama said three years ago, "to seek a new beginning between the United States and Muslims around the world, one based on ... that America and Islam are not exclusive and need not be in competition. Instead, they overlap."

It has indeed been a new beginning, but one based on an increasingly obvious new American weakness in the Mideast that the media ignore out of their own political preferences.
A rare exception to the herd of Democrat journalists covering up for Obama was columnist Kirsten Powers who said:
The thing is, the outrage that has been expressed over the fact that Mitt Romney put out this statement has even overshadowed any kind of outrage that you would see over the fact that you have Islamic flags being hoisted over American embassies, the fact that an American ambassador is dead. You just are not seeing the same level of outrage over just the process of what time he put the statement out. It is just absolutely, utterly insane the way that they have elevated this.
So, rather than question the Obama Administration policy for the Middle East or their preparedness for these attacks, the media simply repeats the specious Obama claim that this worldwide conflagration was the result of outrage over a stupid Internet video that few have ever seen. We're supposed to believe it is just a coincidence these protest started on September 11th.

Four Americans are dead. Our embassies across a wide expanse of the world are either in flames or under lock down. The Black Flag of Al Queda and radical Islam has taken the place of Old Glory. And still, no one in the "news" media dares to question Obama.

This is the consequence of Obama's weak, failed policy and the media's duplicity:

When do we get some answers from the man who reminded us in his Convention speech "I am the President?"

The Germans Get It: Editorial Describes Failure of Obama's Middle East Policy

Or perhaps the Germans are worried Obama might throw them under the "former ally" bus next!

A perfectly concise statement of the gravity and scope of the problem from German publication Die Welt:
"US President Barack Obama's Middle East policy is in ruins. Like no president before him, he tried to win over the Arab world. After some initial hesitation, he came out clearly on the side of the democratic revolutions. … In this context, he must accept the fact that he has snubbed old close allies such as Israel, Saudi Arabia and the Egyptian military. And now parts of the freed societies are turning against the country which helped bring them into being. Anti-Americanism in the Arab world has even increased to levels greater than in the Bush era. It's a bitter outcome for Obama."

"Obama was naive to believe that one only needed to adopt a new tone and show more respect in order to dispel deep-seated reservations about the free world. In practice, the policies of the Obama administration in the region were not as naive as they may have seemed at times, and the Americans have always been much more involved in the Middle East than the passive Europeans. But Washington has provided the image of a distracted superpower in the process of decline to the societies there. This image of weakness is being exploited by Salafists and al-Qaida, who are active in North Africa from Somalia to Mali."

"One thing is clear: If jihadists believe they can attack American installations and kill an ambassador on the anniversary of Sept. 11, then America's deterrent power has declined considerably. For a superpower, it is not enough just to want to be loved. You have to scare the bad guys to keep them in check."

Hillary Clinton:"This has been a difficult week for the State Department and for our country. We’ve seen the heavy assault on our post in Benghazi that took the lives of those brave men. We’ve seen rage and violence directed at American embassies over an awful Internet video that we had nothing to do with."
When will you get the message that this silly film which few people have ever seen, is simply an excuse. Obama and Hillary, it's YOUR POLICY of confused weakness and appeasement that has emboldened America's enemies.

They were shouting "Obama, Obama, we are Osama" in May; long before this film was an issue.

America is witnessing the second September 11th. It's no accident that these attacks started on 9/11/12. Until we are prepared to be honest about the motivations of those who attack us these outrages will continue!

As Embassy in Tunisia Burns Flashback: Obama Promises His Inauguration Will Help Us Reach Out to the Muslim World and "make us safer!"

Of course he also promised he would fix the economy and that's WORSE too!

In an interview [audio] from November 2007 then Senator Obama said:
OBAMA: “I truly believe that the day I’m inaugurated . . . not only does the country look at itself differently, but the world looks at America differently. . . . If am reaching out to the Muslim world they will understand that I've lived in a Muslim country....I'm intimately concerned with what happens in this countries and the cultures and perspectives these folks have. Those are powerful tools for us to be able to reach out to the world.... The world will have confidence that I am listening to them, and that our future and our security is tied up with our ability to work with other countries in the world.... That will ultimately make us safer.”

U.S. Embassy in Tunisia Burns

Scope of worldwide attacks

Meanwhile, White House Spokesman Jay Carney insists that "this is not a case of protests directed at the United States." Oh no... it's just people shouting "death to America" and "Obama, Obama we are all Osama." In Tunisia, the same chant was heard in MAY. Long before this silly film that no one has seen came to public attention.

For that matter, which video caused 9/11?

We are witnessing the total meltdown of Obama's foreign policy. A policy based on a foolish left wing ideology that views the United States as the problem and refuses to stand up and use the levers of American power to help a world beset by the scourge of Islamic radicalism.

How many more people will die before this Administration understands the nature of the threat?

They Cannot Defend Obama's Incompetence So They Raise the Flag and Demand We All Shut Up and Salute

In 2003 Hillary Clinton had an answer for that!

It's funny to watch Democrats as they scramble to cover up for Obama's reckless, incompetent and weak foreign policy and the disaster which is the consequence. They can't defend Obama so they demand we all rally around the flag, put our criticism aside and unite behind Obama.

By "unite" they mean don't ask questions or demand answers.

Yet, during the Bush years, the same people went out of their way to trash President Bush. Elected leaders like Harry Reid even declared that the Iraq War "is lost." This is the same Senate Majority Leader who called President Bush a "loser" and a "liar."

And when the Bush Administration dared to push back, even meekly so, they were met with torrents of abuse including this rather shrill gem from Hillary Clinton:

Hillary: "We are Americans and we have
a right to debate and disagree with ANY Administration!

And now Mitt Romney dares to stand up and express his outrage at the attacks on our embassies overseas and point to the failed leadership of President Obama and all of a sudden Romney is the problem? Give me a break!

We do not find ourselves in this mess by accident. Obama made it very clear from the beginning of his term that he would take our foreign policy in a new direction. That direction was guided by a radical left wing ideology that insists America is part of the problem, not the solution. His world wide apology tours, the weakening of our alliances and his inability or unwillingness to do more than "lead from behind" when a crisis looms are all chickens coming home to roost.

Criticizing Romney while giving Obama a pass and demanding we all salute and shut up is a clear admission that there is no defense for Obama's failed leadership!

Obama Answers Tough Questions in Radio Interview: What's Your Favorite Song?

With so many serious issues at stake in this campaign, why isn't the failure to ask Obama serious questions more of a concern?

In the wake of the total failure of Obama's Middle East policy, I posed a  number of questions that the media should be asking Obama. If a Republican were in office many of these and more would be shouted at every available opportunity.

While Obama has done a few interviews. Most of the questions have been softballs. This interview from August took that lack of seriousness to new heights:

Among the questions:
1. "If you had a super power, what would it be?"
2. "What's your favorite song to work out to?"
3. "Is [the campaign bus] comfortable?"
4. "Do you actually get to use your blackberry?"
5. "Red or Green [Chiles]?"
6. "What's your favorite New Mexican food?"
7. "If we were to visit Chicago, what place would you recommend to get some really good soul food?"
8. "I know your real favorite song has got to be "Call Me Maybe." You can tell us. It's okay."
And if you think that August interview is too dated, what about Obama's radio interview on September 11, 2012 with DJ "Pimp with a Limp" done at the same time Americans were dying in Libya?

While the so-called "mainstream" news media pounds away on Mitt Romney for standing up and expressing outrage at what is happening in the Middle East, Obama continues to skate free from the kind of inspection a normal candidate might expect in a presidential election.

Why Won't Obama Face Same Press Scrutiny over Middle East Policy as Mitt Romney Did in Criticizing It's Failure?

In a time of crisis and at a moment approaching a key election why shouldn't Obama be held to the same standard?

At the Democrat Convention in Charlotte Obama arrogantly proclaimed "I am the President!" I suppose he felt it necessary to remind us since in so many ways he has avoided the responsibility that comes with the job.

A perfect case in point is Obama's weak, confused, incompetent and reckless foreign policy which is now collapsing about his ears as we witness the Arab world going up in flames as radical Muslims riot against the United States.

There are so many questions crying out for answers that can only come from the Commander in Chief. A British news report suggests that we had prior warning of the attacks but did nothing. Also, missing documents at our gutted consulate in Benghazi give the names of Libyans working with the U.S. What steps are we taking to assure their safety?

On Wednesday Obama broke with longstanding U.S. policy and declared that Egypt is no longer an "ally." If so, then why are we continuing to give them billions in aide?

Why can't Obama make time to meet with Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu when both men are in New York for the opening of the United Nations session? Obama does have time to do an appearance on David Letterman.

Was it appropriate for Obama to take off to Las Vegas to do a campaign fundraiser and event the same day we learned of the murder of Ambassador Stevens in Libya and three other Americans?

Then there are the general questions about the failure of Obama's Middle East policy. Shouldn't the press be asking for specifics on how Obama will address this failure?

Media More Interested in Gotcha Journalism with Romney Than Answers from Obama

On Wednesday, the "Big Three" television networks devoted nine minutes and 28 seconds to coverage regarding Mitt Romney's statement on the attacks. Nearly all of that coverage was critical. The same networks devoted just 25 seconds to reporting on Obama's failed policy.

And that overkill was no accident. Reporters covering Mitt Romney were heard on an open mic before his press conference in Florida coordinating the critical story line and colluding on their questions.

The bias was so overwhelming that Kirsten Powers, a Democrat columnist, said that it had:
"overshadowed any kind of outrage that you would see over the fact that you have Islamic flags being hoisted over American embassies, the fact that an American ambassador is dead."
In the 2008 election the media did everything they could to cover up Obama's lack of experience and his ties to radical associates. Now, they cover up for his spectacular foreign policy failure in a moment of crisis. The press has abdicated it's role as the impartial watchdog charged with the responsibility to provide the American people the information they need to make an informed decision.

And the left wonders why people watch Fox News!

Obama's Failed Policy of Appeasement in the Arab World Crashes and Burns

Anti-U.S. violence spirals out of control in more Muslim countries!.
9/11/12: American under attack AGAIN!

It was all supposed to be so different wasn't it? Obama was going to improve our relations with the Muslim world. Before he was elected in 2008 then candidate Obama promised "we've got a unique opportunity to reboot America's image around the world and also in the Muslim world in particular." Some even said that the fact that he has an African and Muslim name will help. Did it?

PhotobucketAfter being elected President Obama went to Egypt and promised in a speech called "a New Beginning" that things were going to be different this time around. Different they may be. Better they are not! Oh well. How's that for Hope and Change?

Our position in the Arab world is worse than ever. Favorability towards the U.S. in the Arab world was actually higher at the end of eight years of the Bush Administration than they are after less than four of Obama.

And now as our embassies around the Arab world are under siege, our personnel murdered in the streets and our flag ripped, burned and replaced by the banner of radical Islam, there is only one may responsible. You can't blame this on Bush. It's OWNED by Obama.

Liz Cheney, writing in the Wall Street Journal goes into detail on the subject and sums it up thus:
Apologizing for America, appeasing our enemies, abandoning our allies and slashing our military are the hallmarks of Mr. Obama's foreign policy.
What we are witnessing now are the bitter fruits of a reckless, incompetent foreign policy that puts Americans in danger and damages our standing in the world. In many ways 9/11/12 will be known as  "The Second 9/11." It's clear that many in this country still haven't learned the lesson from the first 9/11 and we are condemned to repeat the mistakes that led to it.

And just to show you how out of touch the Obamas are, First Lady Michlle agrees "absolutely" that the greatest national security threat we face is obesity! Will TSA agents now transfer from duty frisking nuns and small children at airports and take up stations at McDonald's?

There is a cure for this insanity. Vote ROMNEY/RYAN!

Photos: Islamic Flag Over U.S. Embassy

The same as if it was on U.S. soil!

Is this starting to feel like 1979 again?

More content for the story is in the posts below. Please read on. These new images clearly show the Islamic Flag which means the domination of Islam over all beliefs flying over the American Embassy in Cairo. The embassy is regarded as sovereign U.S. territory. The fact that this occurred on September 11th could just as well mean the Islamic victory over the U.S. Thanks Obama!

Here's the U.S. flag being torn to shreds by the mob:

120912015107-cairo-update-03-horizontal-gallery

Meanwhile, the Egyptians are demanding that WE apologize to them! And Obama, who is famous for apologizing when none is required, is set to host the President of Egypt, himself a radical Muslim at a White House State Visit!

What's wrong with this picture?

Obama is the disease. Romney is the cure!

Four Dead in Libya A Bitter Consequence of Obama's Failed Foreign Policy

Sadly, a taste of more to come!

Is is just a coincidence that mobs in Egypt chanting "Obama, Obama, we are Osama" just happened to turn up  outside our Embassy and rip down the U.S. flag on September 11th? Is it a coincidence that Al Queda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri's brother, who the new radical Egyptian government released from jail, was on the scene?

Was it a coincidence that attacks in Libya also occurred simultaneously? In the Libya attack four American diplomatic personnel, including the U.S. Ambassador were killed. Photos of the Ambassador being carried through the streets while he was dying have gone around the world. This is the first Ambassador to be killed in the line of duty since 1979. Anyone else know what happened in 1979 and who the President was?

Photobucket
America's humilation! Dying Ambassador Stevens being carried through the streets after attack in Libya.
The inital response by the Obama Administration to this threat was to issue an apology to the radicals for any offense American's freedom of speech might have caused. But it's clear that any offense was merely a pretext for the attack.

Obama, called out by name by the protesters, has to bear responsibility for these attacks as a consequence of his failed policies. If Hosni Mubarak was still President of Egypt the attack on our embassy would never have happened. Yet Obama pushed Mubarak out the door. And responsibility for the killings of our personnel in Libya can be directly laid to Obama's incompetence in not providing adequate protection.

This is one tragedy that not even Obama can blame on Bush!

Mitt Romney Responds:

Mitt Romney issued a statement. Here's an excerpt:
America will not tolerate attacks against our citizens and against our embassies. We will defend also our constitutional rights of speech and assembly and religion. We have confidence in our cause in America. We respect our Constitution. We stand for the principles our Constitution protects. We encourage other nations to understand and respect the principles of our Constitution because we recognize that these principles are the ultimate source of freedom for individuals around the world.

I also believe the Administration was wrong to stand by a statement sympathizing with those who had breached our embassy in Egypt instead of condemning their actions. It's never too early for the United States Government to condemn attacks on Americans, and to defend our values. The White House distanced itself last night from the statement, saying it wasn't ‘cleared by Washington.’ That reflects the mixed signals they’re sending to the world.

The attacks in Libya and Egypt underscore that the world remains a dangerous place and that American leadership is still sorely needed. In the face of this violence, America cannot shrink from the responsibility to lead. American leadership is necessary to ensure that events in the region don’t spin out of control. We cannot hesitate to use our influence in the region to support those who share our values and our interests. Over the last several years, we have stood witness to an Arab Spring that presents an opportunity for a more peaceful and prosperous region, but also poses the potential for peril, if the forces of extremism and violence are allowed to control the course of events.

We must strive to ensure that the Arab Spring does not become an Arab Winter.
On a related note, Obama spends most of his time either campaigning, fundraising or golfing. Recent reports indicate he skipped more than half of his daily intelligence briefings which might have helped him to focus attention on these issues.

With Obama, we are suffering the first bitter taste of a cup of woe. Events may force us to drink more from this cup as Obama's amateurish, indifferent and incompetent foreign policy are exposed!

UPDATE: Obama off to campaign in Las Vegas in wake of foreign policy nightmare!

UPDATE: Egypt's President demands punishment of offending U.S. film maker. Fails to say ONE WORD of apology for riot at U.S. embassy. Muslim Brotherhood demand U.S. apologize!

If Obama were ready to stand up for American values he would CANCEL THE STATE VISIT of President Morsi planned for later this month!

Egypt: Demonstrators Tear U.S. Flag from Embassy and Replace with Black Flag of Islam

Echoes of Iran 1979!

Ah, the wonderful Arab Spring. Obama was so eager to push our ally Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak out the door promising a new era of democracy and peace. Jackson Diehl of the Washington Post summarized Obama's postion, in Obama's own words:
A year ago Barack Obama described the epic wave of revolution that had begun in Tunisia and Egypt as “a historic opportunity” for the United States “to pursue the world as it should be.” He said America must promote “change that advances self-determination and opportunity.” And he asserted that “we can make a difference” in how the uprising turns out.
Well, we've seen how the Egyptian uprising has turned out. It's a total mess with Islamic radicals in charge of Egypt echoing memories of earlier hopes that Iran's revolution would be peaceful, democratic and moderate. How'd that work out?

Photobucket

Now we see the first sign of the folly of Obama's policy as the U.S. Embassy in Cairo was overrun on the 11th Anniversary of September 11th by an Islamist mob who tore down the U.S. flag and raised the banner of Islamic radicals. At what point do we stop making excuses for these Khomenis in training?

Meanwhile, Obama is doing what he can to help the radical Egyptian government recover billions from supporters of the former regime. And in a few weeks Obama will honor Mohammed Morsi, the radical Muslim Brotherhood candidate who is now President of Egypt on a State Visit to Washington with all the bells and whistles.

Obama lost Egypt to the radicals and we are only now tasting the first of many sips from the bitter cup of betrayal his misguided policy of appeasement will visit upon the world!

Obama's Polling Bounce: What Goes Up Comes Down!

History shows that the candidate in the lead following the conventions is not always the candidate who wins in November!

I have to pity our liberal friends. They got SOOO excited when Bill Clinton energized the Democrat Convention in Charlotte and Obama saw a small bounce following the event.

Were these observers more seasoned in their experience they would know full well that a minor bump isn't a springboard to victory. They fail to realize that what goes up also comes down.

Even liberal analysts like Nate Silver have to write posts recommending caution as Nate did on Monday:
Our forecast model does assume that Mr. Obama’s numbers are likely to be slightly inflated by the polls right now — perhaps by a point or two, is our best guess — because of his convention.
Silver also mentioned that recent PPP polls are "a point or two Democratic-leaning." In other words, they tend to overstate Obama's support. Recent gains in these PPP state polls are nothing to crow about. Take for example the PPP poll for North Carolina giving Obama a 1 point lead. That poll is countered by a Survey USA poll a day earlier showing Romney with a ten point lead. Nate Silver rates Survey USA as one of the top polling firms in 2010.

Historical Perspective

Photobucket
The Gallup Poll keeps records of it's polling trends for presidential elections going back to 1936. These graphs teach us an important lesson in politics about trends and timing.

First,a reminder that at this time 4 years ago John McCain was ahead of Obama. After the 1988 Democrat Convention, Michael Dukakis was beating George H.W. Bush by 17 points.

But my favorite is the trend from the 1980 election shown above.

In a week the noise from both conventions will have subsided and the campaign will progress. I stick to my original forecast that marked the 99 day countdown to November 6th. In that post I state with near absolute certainty that Obama will NOT get the same level of support he did in 2008. There is clear evidence that he is losing ground with the various demagraphic groups which propelled him to victory in that year. So, any poll which shows him getting more votes in a particular state than he did in 2008 is clearly WRONG!

After the smoke from the conventions clears I'll do another roundup of swing states.

Chicago Union Greed: Highest Paid Teachers in the Nation Go on Strike After Rejecting 16% Increase

Tell that to the millions who are out of work or struggling to make ends meet with two jobs!

Democrats often talk about the greed of the 1% of big income earners. But what about the Teacher's Union which is one of the big contributors to the Democrat Party?

Chicago teachers make an average of $76,000 a year working only nine months of that year. That's the highest teacher pay in the nation. Yet these extremely well paid teachers went on strike after rejecting an offer to increase their pay 16% over four years.

Not enough says the union. Greed is more important than educating our children!

P.S. Approximately 80% of 8th graders in Chicago schools are NOT proficient in reading or math. If anything, these teachers should get a PAY CUT!

How Deep Do We Dig This Hole: More Editorial Opinion Dissecting the Weakness of Obama's Claim for Re-election

Would any sane person want another four more years of the same?

Mark Landsbaum, columnist for the Orange County Register:
If people give Obama the benefit of the doubt, yet recognize things have gotten worse, how deep do we dig this hole?

To gamble on four more years that could get worse sounds risky. While people are drowning around him, the president tosses them anchors instead of life jackets: More debt, bigger government sucking the sustenance out of the economy, more entitlements siphoning capital out of private hands, more tax-subsidized Utopian schemes at the expense of what actually works.

Four more years of this? Really?

Clive Crook at the Atlantic:
One other thing hurts the president's campaign, though perhaps it's too obvious to mention: diminishing returns. I'm not sure Obama's speech was actually as weak and boring as it seemed. There were plenty of good lines. (And the "take two tax cuts" bit was excellent. I laughed.) It's just that we've heard it all before. The rhetorical tricks -- the catch in the voice, the seductive cadences--are no longer so thrilling. Coming from an incumbent unwilling to defend his record and unable to lay out a detailed policy agenda, they're starting to annoy.

Steve Huntley, Chicago Sun Times:
Hope needs more time. That was President Barack Obama’s message in his acceptance speech at the Democratic National Convention Thursday night. But a country that was forced to live on hope for four years and rewarded with dreary unemployment, falling middle class income and depressed home values may not be ready for another dose of lofty national goals based on nothing more than oratory.

One million new manufacturing jobs, 600,000 natural gas jobs, 100,000 math and science teachers. Oil imports cut in half, exports doubled. Cut the growth in college tuition in half and reduce the deficit by more than $4 trillion over a decade.

These were among the goals enunciated by Obama and cheered by enthralled Democrats. But millions of Americans weary of the Obama economy may have heard echoes of past Obama goals — pass my $830 billion stimulus and unemployment won’t go over 8 percent, I’ll cut the deficit in half by the end of my first term, I’ll pass immigration reform in the first year of my administration, Solyndra is America’s energy future.

The payoff: 42 months of joblessness above 8 percent, deficits soaring to a trillion-dollars a year sending the national debt to $16 trillion, immigration reform gone with Obama’s words, Solyndra a bankrupt failure costing the taxpayers half a billion dollars.

“I won’t pretend the path I’m offering is quick and easy. I never have,” Obama thundered to adoring Democrats in Charlotte. Maybe, but he’s never flinched from offering grandiose ambitions. On winning the 2008 Democratic primaries, Obama declared our children would remember that “this was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal.”

Obama's Empty Chair/Empty Stadium Speech

Empty promises, recycled rhetoric, dishonest straw man arguments. All the hallmarks of the empty chair speeches that have become hallmarks of Obama'a failed presidency!

Clint Eastwood gave his first interview since appearing at the GOP Convention in Tampa to his local newspaper in Carmel, California. In it he described how the idea of the empty chair came to him only moments before he was to go out and address the Convention. It turns out that what appeared as a rather bizarre device at the time has captured the attention of the nation as the perfect metaphor to describe Obama's failed presidency.

Democrats canceled Obama's big speech at the Bank of America stadium, claiming the risk of inclement weather, but admitted off the record that it was because they knew they couldn't fill the stadium. Thousands of empty seats when Obama spoke would have sent the wrong message. Instead, an empty stadium with tens of thousands of empty seats is the perfect description of Obama's speech.

charlotte-nc-stadium
An empty stadium for an empty speech!

There were no balloons at the end of Obama's big speech. But with all the hot air they would likely have floated to the roof. The speech was typical Obama. Loaded with emotional buzz phrases and short on specifics. The few promises he did make were recycled from his 2008 campaign only this time with goals that were less than those he originally promised 4 years ago. To those watching it must have occurred that since he failed to achieve his original goal, why should they believe he will succeed now?

Liberal columnist Michael Tomasky summed Obama's speech up this way:
Let’s be blunt. Barack Obama gave a dull and pedestrian speech tonight, with nary an interesting thematic device, policy detail, or even one turn of phrase.
...
This was the rhetorical equivalent, forgive the football metaphor, of running out the clock: Obama clearly thinks he’s ahead and just doesn’t need to make mistakes. But when football teams do that, it often turns out to be the biggest mistake of all, and they lose.
The Daily Mail cites the critique of Molly Ball in the Atlantic:
'The speech was so befuddlingly flat as to make you wonder whether its lameness was intentional. The president, that legendary orator, vaunted crowd-mover, well-known sweeper-away of audiences in general and political conventions in particular, gave a warmed-over rehash of his stump speech.'
In the New Republic, another liberal publication, Timothy Noah writes:
Watching President Obama give his nomination speech last night, it occurred to me for the first time that he might actually lose.
...
We’re dangerously close to Jimmy Carter territory here.

The Big Elephant in the Room: Millions Unemployed and No Longer Looking!

Obama didn't even mention unemployment. It's as if he knew that the news from Friday's job's report would be bad. Only 96,000 jobs created in August at the same time 368,000 Americans gave up looking for work. A record 88,921,000 Americans, who the Labor Department calculates could work, are no longer attempting to do so.

During the Obama presidency 30 years of job growth has been wiped out as the chart below showing the labor force points out:
image-1

Photobucket
This is Obama's "recovery"!

These stats under report the negative economic and social impact Obama's failure has had on blacks, Hispanics and women who bear an even heavier burden in tough times. War on Women? Obama's leading that charge!

The empty stadium in Charlotte could be filled over and over and over with those who have lost their job and given up looking during Obama's presidency. Their struggle may be ignored by Obama but they will have a chance to have their voice heard in November.

Help is on the way: ROMNEY/RYAN!

Whacko Dem Delegate Thinks Christians Want Jews to Be Slaughtered

And another Dem delegate wants to "kill Romney!"

It's a regular freak show at the Democrat Convention in Charlotte. First they take God out of the platform, then they strong arm the delegates to put God back in. Meanwhile, crazy delegates are running around calling Republicans Nazis.

But that pales in comparison to this delegate, the Chairman of the Palm Beach County, Florida Democrats. He doesn't thank Christians for their support of Israel. Quite the contrary:

Siegel: "Fundamentalist Christians want Jews to die
and bring on the second coming of their Lord"

WOW! What an open and unapologetic display of hatred, prejudice and ignorance all rolled into one delegate. Sadly, the sentiments he expressed find a ready and accepting audience in Charlotte among  delegates who are so far outside the mainstream of American thought that this kind of extreme rhetoric is not surprising!

Bill Clinton Tells Truth in 2010: If We Don't Fix Economy in Two Years "Vote Us All Out" in 2012!

Forget what Bill Clinton said in Charlotte. This is what he REALLY thinks!

Cue tape to 28 seconds:

Bill Clinton 2010: "Give us two more years. If it doesn't work, you
have another election in just two years. Vote us all out then!"

Time's up Bill!

Let's not forget Obama who promised  in 2009"If I don't have this done in three years then there is  going to be a one term proposition."

Time's up Barack!

Obama Losing Support Among Younger Voters

As well as Independents, whites, blacks, Hispanics, Jews, women....

More bad news for Obama. The tsunami of youthful voters who drank the Hopenchange Kool Aid have grown up and they're no longer hooked!

The Washington Post tells the story: "Generation Obama grows up and moves on." An excerpt:
Now, in Charlotte, their group was representative of Obama’s youth support again: smaller, more realistic, more established and more fractious.

Some of the original members had become political insiders. Others had come to resent politics altogether.

The story of Generation Obama is the story of a key coalition in the 2012 presidential campaign. Many young voters were drawn into politics by this president, but now he is having trouble retaining their same level of support. It is a problem the Obama campaign has come to refer to as the “enthusiasm gap.” His staff is not so much worried about young voters favoring Mitt Romney, it is worried that the Obama volunteers of 2008 will turn into half-hearted voters and that the voters of 2008 will not bother to vote at all in 2012.

Obama continues to maintain a large lead over Romney with voters who are 18 to 29, but at no point in Washington Post-ABC polling of this race has he reached his level of support from 2008, when he was backed by 66 percent of young voters. Now, according to Post-ABC polling, about as many 18- to 29-year-olds hold “strongly negative” as “strongly positive” views of his work in office.
...
Sara Haile-Mariam, an activist from New York and a Generation Obama member, had started writing op-ed articles about her lack of engagement and keeping a personal blog. “The 2012 election cycle sucks,” she wrote. “Why? Because there is no real choice in this election.”

Matt Walters had traveled around the country with his then-girlfriend to knock on doors in 2008; now they were getting married and planning a honeymoon in Croatia, and the “events of our own lives have kind of taken over,” he said.

There was Arthur Leopold, once the most enthusiastic of them all, who had taken a semester off from school to help launch Generation Obama. He raised $1 million for Democrats in 2008 when he was only 20 years old, and called the convention in Denver “the most exciting point of my life.”

In the years since, Leopold graduated from Duke University and moved to New York. He took a job at an investment bank, where not everyone was so enamored with Obama and where he kept his politics close to the vest. He continued to support Obama but stopped raising money or obsessing over politics.

“The excitement or need to be there for the campaign just hasn’t really been there,” he said.

An old Obama acquaintance called to offer him a ticket to the convention in Charlotte. Leopold decided he couldn’t make it, so he offered the ticket to Cameron Chase, 22, an old friend from Duke. Chase, an Obama supporter who considered youth enthusiasm “pitiful” in this campaign, asked Leopold what would cause him to pass up a ticket to the convention.

“Life intervenes,” he said. “I’ve got a real job now, and I’ve got to go work.”

Youth Vote Evaporating for Obama

The problem for Obama goes deeper than just a handful of anecdotal reports. In an article for the Wall Street Journal Karl Rove ran the numbers tracking the youth vote:
Then there are voters ages 18 to 29, among Mr. Obama's most important supporters in 2008. The roughly 23.7 million "millennials" who voted in 2008 were 18% of the electorate, up 2.9 million voters over the previous presidential race. They gave Mr. Obama 66% to Sen. John McCain's 32%, according to exit polls. This margin of roughly eight million votes was a major chunk of Mr. Obama's overall edge of 9.6 million.

But youthful enthusiasm for Mr. Obama has waned. In October 2008, 78% of voters 18-29 told Gallup they would definitely vote that year. Now it's 58%.

There's also evidence that fewer younger people are registered. A November 2011 study from Tufts University found that 43% of the decline in Nevada's voter rolls since 2008 came from voters ages 18-24. Similarly, while North Carolina's rolls rose by 93,709 over that period, more than 48,000 younger voters were dropped from the rolls, 80% of them Democrats.

Mr. Obama's lead over Mr. Romney in the latest JZ Analytics poll among voters ages 18-29 is 49% to 41%. If young voters turn out this fall in the same numbers as in 2008 and give Mr. Obama this eight-point margin, it will take 2.8 million votes from Mr. Obama's total and add more than 3.3 million to Mr. Romney's tally.

It's this drip, drip, drip erosion in support for Obama that is now showing up in polls especially in key swing states. Just how far the erosion goes remains to be determined. But one thing is clear, 2012 won't be anything like 2008!
