In Syria, Russia is Bombing Not ISIS but U.S. Allies. Surprise! Surprise!

Secretary of State John Kerry expresses "grave concern!"

Haven't we seen this movie before? Russia invades Ukraine and Obama and Kerry express their concern and say this will isolate Russia. Now, Russia is building bases in Syria and attacking U.S. allies who oppose ISIS terrorists and the criminal Assad regime and Kerry again expressed "grave concern."

No matter where you look Obama is being played by the bad guys and he can't seem to figure it out. Is he happy with the collapse of U.S. leadership ushering in a new age of violence and brutality?

Speaking on the floor of the U.S. Senate, Armed Services Committee Chairman John McCain declared:“This is the inevitable consequence of hollow words, red lines crossed, tarnished moral influence, leading from behind and a total lack of American leadership.”

That's putting it mildly. Is Obama doing this on purpose to weaken U.S. leadership?

Remember this?

Romney says that Russia is one of our biggest threats and Obama basically says Romney is an idiot. OBAMA: "The 1980's are calling and they want their foreign policy back. The Cold War is over!" What an ass. And so very, VERY WRONG!

Obama lectures Putin and UN Two Days Before Russian Strike

Just to show how little Obama is regarded by Putin and other bad guys, there's this excerpt of Obama's speech at the United Nations two days before Russia attacked. Putin met with Obama during that time.
OBAMA: I stand before you today believing in my core that we, the nations of the world, cannot return to the old ways of conflict and coercion. We cannot look backwards. We live in an integrated world — one in which we all have a stake in each other’s success. . . .And if we cannot work together more effectively, we will all suffer the consequences. That is true for the United States, as well.
What a joke. How out of touch with reality is Obama? Or, again,  is he doing this on purpose?

UPDATE: Hundreds of Iranian troops flood into Syria. Sound like a good idea?

Related: U.S. generals in Afghanistan request residual troop presence to counteract mounting Taliban gains. Will history repeat itself in Afghanistan as it did in Iraq with Obama throwing away all the gains that have been made there as well?

Obama's Failure: Bipartisan Report Documents "the largest global convergence of jihadists in history" in Syria

Why is Obama so disengaged? Does he really think it's a good idea to give the Russians the lead in fighting terrorism in the Middle East?

A new bipartisan report  (PDF) from the Committee on Homeland Security in the U.S. House of Representatives chronicles how the global jihad has gained the ultimate foothold in Syria and Iraq despite Obama's many promises to "degrade and defeat" ISIS.

In key findings of the report the Committee declares: "we are witnessing the largest global convergence of jihadists in history in Syria, and foreign fighters have taken the lead in recruiting a new generation of terrorists to spread terror back home." Thousands of fighters are flocking to Syria but hundreds of highly radicalized fighters are returning to the United States. They're not going back to work at McDonalds!

Meanwhile, a key city in Afghanistan has now fallen to Islamic extremists. Defeat looms across the board!

Obama is doing  NOTHING! Failure to preserve the  hard won victory in Iraq, Afghanistan and failure to have any kind of coherent and effective policy in Syria means the terrorists are winning. And there's no better recruitment tool than success.

The next attack on the United States will be a direct result of Obama's indifference/incompetence. And all those who have supported him will be responsible as well!

Turns Out Most American Muslims WOULD Replace U.S. Consitution With Shariah Law!

Dr. Ben Carson was right. A Muslim holding these views should never be President!

A report last week from New Jersey should have been a wake up call. Muslims demanded schools close for a Muslim holiday the week before the holiday began. New Jersey schools said no. One angry Muslim threatened: “We’re gonna be the majority soon.”

And what do you suppose America would look like if Muslims were in the majority? According to a recent poll a majority of American Muslims said they would support Shariah Law replacing the U.S. Constitution. Some are not shy about expressing their demand that Islam would be the dominant religion and even that violent jihad is acceptable to bring about that outcome.

Too bad the American news media is bending over backwards to bash Ben Carson and anyone else who points this out. The media freedoms they enjoy will be among the first to go, right along with liberal pet peeves such as gender equality, the minutes Muslims run the show!

Do Recent Polls Suggest Movement in GOP 2016 Race?

Is the summer of Trump about to end?

Bush Still Winning the Money Game, BUT

Just as important as polls and debates is the money game. The last candidate filing was on July 31 and expect big changes when the next quarterly report is filed. But as of July 31 Jeb Bush was way ahead in overall money which includes PACS but Ted Cruz actually beat Bush in direct contributions to his campaign which is more desirable than PAC spending.

Too early to say whether Trump and Carson downturns are more than just a blip. Stay tuned. The Iowa Caucus is still three months away (primary calendar)!

Obama's Abu Ghraib and Media Silence. Child Rape on U.S. Bases in Afghanistan Draws Little Attention

This would be a major issue if Bush was in the White House!

Remember the Abu Ghraib prison scandal in Iraq? How could you forget. It was front page news for YEARS! Images of terrorists being humiliated looked much like a fraternity initiation gone bad yet the media howled and howled.

Terrorist humiliated at Abu Ghraib. Cry me a river!
But a report in the New York Times that U.S. soldiers were told to ignore the sexual abuse of children, including the rape of boys and girls at U.S. military bases in Afghanistan by our Afghan allies was a three day story. The Washington Post wrote a follow up report and White House spokesman Josh Earnest expressed "deep concern" with promises that the issue would be raised with the Afghan government. In other words, that's the end of it. You can expect as much to be done about this as the IRS targeting of the Tea Party or the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

The left used Abu Ghraib as a way to demonize the entire Bush war and anti-terrorism effort. They simply refuse to hold Obama to the same standard even when children are involved!

Boehner Quits as Speaker Gives House Conservatives Chance to Organize for Replacement

With GOP voters increasingly dissatisfied with leadership in Washington, it's time for the RIGHT change we've been promised!

House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) weeps as Pope Francis speaks fro m
Speakers  Balcony of the Capitol Building. The next day he resigned effective in October.
I've never been a Boehner basher but perhaps it's best that he's on the way out. As Speaker he had a tough job. For the first four years of his speakership Democrats controlled the Senate leaving little room for Republicans to stop Obama's extreme agenda. Since Republicans took control of the Senate earlier this year Obama and the Democrats have continued to stymie the Republican agenda. Boehner and company seemed to be tougher on conservatives than they ever were on Obama.

Is it any wonder that in a recent poll nearly two thirds of Republican voters say they feel betrayed by GOP leaders in Washington? Is it any wonder that outsider GOP presidential candidates like Trump, Carson and Fiorina are doing so well? Boehner has taken the blame for much of voter's disappointment. He should be commended for giving the House GOP the chance to select new leaders in the run up to the 2016 election.

The process for electing a new Speaker is straightforward but I don't know what the timeline is. Will the House wait until Boehner's resignation goes into effect?  That would give conservatives more time to organize a challenge to the establishment GOP favorite Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) the House Majority Leader who is pro-life but not exactly the fighter that conservatives are looking for.

What's needed is a conservative House Republican of some stature willing to put his, or her, name forward and take the heat from the establishment for doing so. Any chance of success also depends on holding conservative members together in supporting their alternative despite the pressure to cave. Voters in key districts need to make their concerns very clear to key members at the earliest opportunity!

For conservatives it's time to take our House back. Next, we take our COUNTRY back!

UPDATE: RINO's in U.S. House will not go quietly!

For those who want to follow the ins and outs of the looming leadership fight The Hill newspaper, a specialty publication focusing on Congress, is an excellent resource. Here's a sample:

"I don’t think that the conservative wing of the party has enough mass to get one of our own elected. We certainly have enough mass to influence the outcome," said another Freedom Caucus member, Rep. Mick Mulvaney (R-S.C.).

- Boehner's establishment allies in the House are furious at conservatives and may seek revenge.

Showing Who is More Important: Obama is Late for Pope Arrival, Makes Pope's Jet Circle

Forces Pope plane to burn more fuel and add to global warming. How un-Christian!

From The Atlantic:
Obama and Biden Were Running Late for the Pope, So They Made His Plane Turn Around

As the pope stalkers of the world watched his flight path on the Alitalia website, suddenly… the plane started making donuts. Several loops over North Carolina later, the pope is back on his way to D.C.

A source on the ground at Joint Base Andrews said several government officials told him the reason the plane started circling was that Obama and Biden are running late to the greeting ceremony.

Obama never fails to put himself first. Perhaps he thinks he thinks he's Jesus?

Scott Walker Follows Perry Out of GOP 2016. Another Casualty of a Nominating Process that Focuses on Celebrity, Not Competence or Experience!

Good candidates are being lost in the noise!

Gov. Scott Walker riding his Harley.
He's smart, he's young, he's survived everything the Dems threw at him in Wisconsin. But he was beat in the GOP 2016 nominating contest by a relentless media focus on celebrity with Donald Trump sucking all the oxygen out of the room. In the last CNN debate he got only nine minutes in a three hour long debate. Hardly a fair way to judge his ability!

Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker follows Rick Perry out of the 2016 contest. Both would make great presidents. But instead, the show will go on without them.

Here's what Trump did to Walker in Iowa where he went from frontrunner in July to next to nothing in September:

Like Perry in Texas Walker is a man of ideas and a proven record of success in Wisconsin. Both are now gone leaving voters with fewer choices. Once the novelty of Trump fades, we may wish we had a Walker or a Perry to fall back on!

UPDATE: Walker campaign autopsy from National Journal. Will his fall benefit Rubio?

While Trump Dominates News, There's a Mutiny in Democrat Ranks Over Debates

Why is Hillary so afraid to debate?

At the New Hampshire Democratic Party convention on Saturday  many of the party faithful were in open revolt against the decision by DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Shultz to limit debates. It was not a pretty sight for Dems. Video here.

Perhaps the average Democrat is jealous that Republicans are getting all the attention with their debates but one wonders why national party leaders are refusing to budge? Are they afraid Dem debates wouldn't get anywhere  near the record ratings of GOP debates? Or do party insiders worry that Hillary Clinton will get shredded by her rivals?

Either way, it's fun to watch even though much of the mainstream media would like to redirect audiences to the GOP spat with Trump instead! How long can they keep that up?

The American Iron Lady? Carly Fiorina, Not a Reagan, but a THATCHER!

Forget Hillary Clinton, so ethically compromised and hopelessly mired in identity/grievance politics. There's a woman who has proved she can blow past the glass ceiling and be a leader in her own right. Writing at the Wall Street Journal Kimberly Strassel believes Fiorina is walking in the shoes of Margaret Thatcher:
Carly Fiorina isn’t Margaret Thatcher, just as her Republican rivals aren’t Ronald Reagan. Yet Ms. Fiorina has a bit of Thatcher about her—and in one way in particular. She isn’t a woman running for president. She’s a presidential contender who happens to be a woman.

That’s new for the GOP. Women have made remarkable inroads everywhere, but there still may be no tougher realm than Republican politics. This isn’t, as the press suggests, because conservative voters are old fogies who’d chain their wives to sinks full of dirty dishes. It’s because conservative voters demand more from their candidates.

Women Democrats pander on gender issues—abortion, birth control, the myth of unequal pay. They promise female voters special handouts. They pitch their womanhood as a qualification for office. And their base loves it.

Women Republicans don’t get to engage in such vote-buying. They are expected to be principled, knowledgeable, serious. They are expected to propose policies—sometimes unpopular ones—designed to help all Americans. And, because the general public (both right and left) is still new to the idea of a woman president, they are expected to do all this twice as well as men.
...
The Iron Lady didn’t do identity politics, and Ms. Fiorina doesn’t either. At the debate she offered unadulterated substance. She was informed, focused, specific. Want to know what Carly thinks of Putin? Here. Need Carly to explain how hard it is to alter the 14th amendment? Right at ya. Curious if Carly is familiar with Gen. Qasem Soleimani, head of Iran’s Quds Force, and where he’s traveled lately? Boom, boom, boom.

Ms. Fiorina had the opportunity to play the gender card, but she didn’t. Asked about Donald Trump’s comments on her appearance, she might have derided the billionaire as a misogynist. She didn’t. When Chris Christie essentially told her to shut up, she might have looked wounded and wilted. She didn’t.

It isn’t that Ms. Fiorina doesn’t talk about women, or ignores that she is one. It’s simply that she acknowledges it matter of factly, and in the context of opportunity for all. As the men on stage fumbled to think of a lady heroine to grace the $10 bill, Ms. Fiorina demurred. “I wouldn’t change the $10 bill or the $20 bill. I think, honestly, it’s a gesture,” she said. “We ought to recognize that women are not a special interest group.”
...
None of this is to say that Ms. Fiorina is unaware of the special challenge of being a female candidate. Her debate performance proved she’s in fact highly aware of it, and that certain additional things are therefore required of her.

One of these is to offer proof that she can be an effective commander in chief. Guys don’t have to do that; girls do. It’s no accident that Ms. Fiorina was the only candidate to propose rebuilding the Sixth Fleet, to suggest restarting a missile defense program in Poland, and to run through how many Army brigades and Marine battalions are necessary for an effective U.S. military.

This gets to the other thing Ms. Fiorina knows she has to do: her homework. Republican female presidential candidates are rare; the base is still getting comfortable with it. She knows she can’t slip up. Her Wednesday performance—from her mastery of facts, to her fluid delivery, to her zingers—was clearly the work of hours upon hours of study and debate prep.

It was Thatcher who famously said, “In politics, if you want anything said, ask a man. If you want anything done, ask a woman.” Ms. Fiorina has a long way to go to the presidency. But win or lose, she’s running far better than any Republican woman before her.
Hillary Clinton has famously said "don't you someday want to see a woman President of the United States?" Yes, just Hillary!

Animated Graph Shows How Government Agency is Faking Climate Change Temperature Records

This brazen effort to hide the truth is consistent with Obama's politics on climate change and terrorism!

The Obama Administration has shown a remarkable ability to change information they find inconvenient. They've done it with intelligence assessment of the ISIS terrorism where they downplayed the threat and they continue to do it with temperature records on climate change.

The animated image above compares the global temperature graph from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)in August 2014 to August 2015. Notice how records have been altered to show it was cooler in the past and warmer in more recent years. This has been an ongoing process to alter past records to support a political agenda. The global temperature record, always a rather sketchy statistic anyway, has been corrupted to the point where it is meaningless.

Yet that won't stop Obama from citing the stat and repeating the other lies about extreme weather which have also been debunked so many times it's a wonder he can repeat the scare with a straight face!

Rubio and Fiornia Strong in 2nd GOP Debate But Trump Continues to Suck All the Air Out of the Room!

Difficult for most candidates to get their message out when Trump does most of the talking!

It was supposed to be a knock down drag out debate where the other GOP contenders were going to take down Donald Trump. CNN's moderators did their best by posing questions designed to spark a reaction but overall I didn't get the impression that they succeeded.

Still, it was a good debate despite the fact that so many of the candidates got very little time to make their case. My overall favorites are:

1. Carly Fiorina. She gets criticized for appearing a bit stern but it was clear she wasn't going to take any guff from the guys, most of all Trump. As always her answers were clear, concise and knowledgeable. Carly really asserted herself and helped to drive up her visibility by interrupting.

2. Though he didn't interrupt much, Marco Rubio also made a very compelling presentation. I can't understand why he isn't doing better in the polls.

Ben Carson seemed a bit passive and didn't really tell me anything new about his ideas. Jeb Bush did better than in the first debate and took on Trump which makes him appear less of a wimp but the criticism from Cruz when he said that the former Bush presidents mostly picked Supreme Court nominees who would be easy to confirm, not necessarily conservative, struck a chord with me.

And of course Trump did his usual thing. Nothing new there.

Would it be possible to design a format where each candidate gets the same amount of time? So many of the hopefuls in the bottom half of the above chart are not getting a fair shot!

Next debate is at the University of Boulder presented by CNBC on October 28.

UPDATE: Scott Walker's rebuke to Trump

Scott Walker had a better night on Wednesday than he did in the previous debate. And he did join in the attacks on Trump. Here's a highlight:

SCOTT WALKER: "This is what is wrong with this debate. We're not talking about real issues... And Mr. Trump. We don't need an apprentice in the white house, we have one right now. He told us everything we wanted to hear back in 2008. We don't know who you are or where you're going or if you can get the job done."
For a  version for you Facebook folks:

And one for Carly:

And the best idea Jeb Bush ever had. But then, HE WALKED IT BACK!  Typical Bush!

Obama's Syrian Debacle Will Have Consequences Far Worse Than Current Refugee Crisis

Obama failed to take action when it might have done some good. Now, it's too late!

Two years ago this week Obama declared the crisis in Syria a threat to our national security:
When dictators commit atrocities, they depend upon the world to look the other way until those horrifying pictures fade from memory. But these things happened. The facts cannot be denied. The question now is what the United States of America, and the international community, is prepared to do about it. Because what happened to those people -- to those children -- is not only a violation of international law, it’s also a danger to our security.
He then proceeded to dither about what to do. First drawing a red line, repeatedly demanding the removal of Assad and later applying only weak airstrikes and empty promises. One of those empty promises was his plan to stand up a Free Syrian Army by training thousands of Syrians to fight both Assad and ISIS. A year later and over $40 million spent less than 60 fighters were trained and these were immediately captured or disappeared.

Politico sums up the debacle this way:
With all the U.S.-trained fighters dead, captured or missing and their leader in the hands of Al Qaeda, top U.S. commanders are scrambling this week to determine how to revive the half-billion dollar program to create a moderate Syrian army to fight the Islamic State.

The outgoing chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Martin Dempsey, who viewed the force as a critical element of the military strategy in both Syria and Iraq, is conferring with top Pentagon officials behind closed doors to figure out what options are left for what is widely considered a policy and military failure, according to senior defense officials.
Meanwhile, Obama is focusing on the non-issue of climate change and has stopped talking about Syria and seems to hope the problem will just go away. Instead it's getting worse.

Russia Sending Troops a "Concern" to Obama/Kerry?

Not only is ISIS cementing it's hold on large parts of Syria and Iraq but Russian troops are now in Syria to help Assad. Reports indicate Iranian troops are also in Syria. On Wednesday Secretary of State John Kerry called his Russian counterpart to warn of his "concern" that "could lead to greater violence and even more instability in Syria." Obama weighed in on Friday saying "We are going to be engaging Russia to let them know that you can't continue to double down on a strategy that's doomed to fail."  Oh that will scare the Russians! Speaking of failure, after so many empty threats from Obama and Kerry over the Russian invasion of Ukraine the Russians and Iranians know the United States won't do anything to stop them.

Refugee Crisis a Consequence of Obama Dithering With More Bitter Fruit to Follow

The current crisis of refugees flooding across Europe is a direct consequence of Obama's failure to lead and contain the situation. Now millions of displaced people are threatening the social fabric of states like Jordan and Lebanon while hundreds of thousands head to northern Europe.

The influx of refugees presents a direct challenge to the security and stability of Jordan and Lebanon, which I suppose explains why the Saudis and the Gulf States refuse to take in refugees or make it very difficult for them to come.

Hundreds of thousands of refugees are desperately trying to reach states in northern Europe where generous welfare benefits are very attractive to people who have lost everything. But there are significant problems with such a mass migration.

European states take care to supply refugees with the basic human needs of housing, food and money for flat screen televisions and cell phones. But instead of assimilating into the western secular consumer culture many immigrants attempt to duplicate the Islamic culture they left behind. The result is a self segregated society in which resentments towards the majority culture are exploited by radical Islamists. Areas surrounding London, Paris and other European cities bear witness to the problem of cultural isolation and ease of  radicalization.

While Saudi Arabia won't accept any refugees, it has offered to pay for the construction of  200 mosques in Germany. On this 14th anniversary of  the 9/11 attacks readers may also recall that the plotters of that attack came from a mosque in Hamburg, Germany. How many more radicalized Muslims will be created by this current wave of refugees once they become disillusioned with the generosity of welfare benefits in their new homes?

The consequences of Obama's failed policy in Syria mean that hundreds of thousands of potential recruits for Islamic radicalism will be brought to Europe and also to the United States. The recruitment drive has already begun in Germany. How many more 9/11's will result from Obama's failure to lead and to act when the cost would have been low!

UPDATE: Top officials refused to present intelligence data that showed Obama's failure? Obama lied, thousands died!

Elizabeth II of Britain Passes Monarch Milestone: Longest Serving in British History

Now a symbol of continuity and class after more than 63 years!

It's official. Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain, etc. has now surpassed the record for longest reigning British monarch previously held by her great great grandmother Queen Victoria. It was business as usual (almost) for the Queen today but throughout Britain the significance of the day hasn't been lost. Her reign also marks a continuity of the most significant alliance with the United States. For that, we can  celebrate the milestone too!

Queen Elizabeth II, who succeeded her father King George VI on February 6, 1952, after her coronation ceremony in Westminster Abbey, London June 2,  1953.

Under Obama American Born Workers Lose Ground to Immigrants, Legal or Otherwise

No wonder Dems are so eager to curry favor with illegals. They'll soon have all the money!

While the Labor Participation Rate reached a new historic low last month (with blacks and women hardest hit) there is some good news. That is if you were not born in the United States but are working here either legally or illegally. From Zero Hedge:

Changes in just the month of August illustrate the problem further:

Obamanomics. Creating jobs for everyone BUT Americans!

UPDATE: Wage increases for Americans tank under Obama!

Just another reason the average American was much better off under Bush.

Latest Hillary Interview Only Weaves Web of Deceit Tighter Around Her

Is she even aware how ridiculous she sounds?

Hillary's story on her private email problem keeps shifting. First she claimed she never read or sent classified material. Later that changed to information that was knowingly classified at the time and later that changed to marked classified. As anyone who has worked at that level of government knows that's all hogwash.

In her latest attempt to get ahead of the lies she tells more. In only her third interview since announcing her candidacy (compare that to the GOP candidates who are on the air almost daily) she spoke with Andrea Mitchell of NBC News hoping for a sympathetic reporter. Well, Andrea may be sympathetic but once again Hillary did herself no favors.

Let's save time by putting aside all the usual Clintonian spin and cut right to the heart of the matter:
She explained that she had used a personal email account as a senator from New York and didn't spend much time considering alternatives when she became secretary of state in 2009. "I did all my business on my personal email [in the Senate]," Clinton said. "I was not thinking a lot when I got in [to the State Department]. There was so much work to be done. We had so many problems around the world. I didn't really stop and think what kind of email system will there be."
Yet the Washington Post reports that Hillary went out of her way to set up and maintain the separate email account by hiring an Information Technology specialist who had worked on her 2008 campaign to run the email server. The man was also given a job at the State Department.

Once again, the facts contradicts Hillary's shifting story. If Hillary really was focused on doing her job and not paying attention to which email she used it would have been far easier to simply use the State Department email system which was already set up to handle classified information.

So why do it the hard way? From emails which have come to light (remembering that Hillary deleted 30,000) Hillary was also doing quite a lot of business with the Clinton Foundation and questions have been raised about quid pro quos from donors to the foundation who also had business before the State Department. If Hillary had used the State system, ALL those records would be available for investigation.

As part of the House Democrat Watergate team that prosecuted Richard Nixon, and after eight years in the White House with Bill Hillary knows all too well what can happen if damaging information isn't destroyed (hello blue dress). Much better that voters think she may be dishonest and a crook than leave absolutely no doubt on the matter!

Consequence of Obama and #BlackLivesMatter Anti-Cop Rhetoric is More Deaths of Blacks at the Hands of Other Blacks

Murder rate is skyrocketing with black on black murder at epidemic levels in some cities!

Far beyond the relatively small number of blacks killed by cops are the thousands of black who are murdered by other blacks every year. In the wake of unrelenting attacks on police by Obama, Holder, Sharpton and now Black Lives Matter it appears that hundreds more blacks are dying as a result. And they are dying in cities dominated by Democrats with strict gun control laws where Black Lives  Matter has been particularly active:

In Washington, DC where violent crime hits blacks particularly hard the Black Lives Matter crowd booed Mayor Muriel Bowser when she announced that she was putting more cops on the street to battle the epidemic. The booing and interruptions continued for nearly 20 minutes. It's important to note that DC's police force is overwhelmingly made up of black officers.

Isn't it a bloody irony that the Black Lives Matter crowd would protest a black Mayor and black officers trying to save black lives?

But the irony continues as the Democratic National Committee passed a resolution the previous weekend showing their support for Black Lives Matter. Do Democrats officially support a group that objects to black cops saving black lives?

How many more grieving parents will suffer this nightmare because Obama and Black Lives Matter continue to keep the focus off the real problem?

In First Ad Battle Between Bush and Trump Bush Gets Upper Hand

Though whether it will matter to Trump supporters is an open question!

GOP presidential candidate has an Achilles heel on immigration. Like so many other establishment candidates he's been weak on the issue. Trump exploits that in this new ad:

Simple and to the point in a few seconds. For a first effort it's acceptable. Trump deserves credit for continuing to raise the issue.

Bush retaliates by questioning Trump's conservative credentials. We've previously seen Rand Paul do the same, now Bush:

Trump insists that Reagan was once a Democrat but as I previously pointed out, Reagan didn't just wake up a few years before running for President and declare himself a conservative. He had a record that went back more than a decade supporting conservative candidates and causes.

In this first ad match up the nod goes to Bush!
