The level of dumb, even dangerous hate from the American left is reaching a new low with announcement that Associate Justice Anthony Kennedy is retiring from the U.S. Supreme Court. Dems dusted off the same vile rhetoric they used before Trump nominated Gorsuch then doubled down on nasty. Once again, they are showing how totally isolated they are from Real America.
Ramping up the campaign of hate on Twitter, Democrats continue to push the envelope further towards incitement to violence. From a writer at the Comedy Central network this stands out. It's a reference to the assassinations of President Kennedy and his brother Robert suggesting Justice Kennedy would be a better target. Remember, these the are guys who lecture US on civility:
While the tweet has been taken down the message has been received. Does this man still have his job? Comedian Roseanne Barr was fired from a hit TV show for less.
Once again, Democrats are displaying what Hillary Clinton called the "horrifying" prospect of undermining democracy and the U.S. Constitution by refusing to accept that Trump has the legitimate power to appoint nominees to the Supreme Court.
Prior to Trump's first nomination to the court Democrats had pre-prepared talking points describing any nominee as "extreme and out of the mainstream." They even had signs printed up to "OPPOSE _______" providing blue pens to fill in the name when the announcement of Neil Gorsuch was made. It didn't matter what Gorsuch's qualifications were.
Does that sound like principled opposition to you?
I'm reminded of the classic Marx Brother's song from the 1932 film Horsefeathers:

And how is that that guy still has his job? And why didn't Twitter find THAT to be a violation of their standards???
What Dems refuse to recognize is that the more hate filled and angry they get the stronger Trump becomes. Real America won't be deceived by the "sky is falling" drumbeat from a coterie of left wing fascist haters.
