Senior Obama Advisor Orders 4 Star General to Fetch Her Another Glass of Wine!

How do you qualify for a top White House job if you can't tell the difference between a waiter and a four star General loaded with medals?

Like a slip of the tongue that tells the unvarnished truth that a person would never say in public, there are those rare moments when Democrats in the White House show us what they really think of the U.S. Military. At a swank dinner hosted Monday by the Alfalfa Club, Obama's closest adviser Valerie Jarret mistook General Peter Chiarelli, Vice Chief of Staff United States Army for a waiter and asked him to bring her another glass of wine. General  Chiarelli, wearing his military dress uniform with four stars and covered with decorations for military service did what any gentleman would do and brought Ms. Jarrett a drink. The General then returned to his seat at the head table along with Ms. Jarrett and other top military officers.

According to news reports, Jarrett was mortified by her mistake when she realized that the general was not a waiter. But like a Freudian slip of the tongue, this may be a revealing insight of how Obama's White House views the military.

According to a retired military officer who blogs at I Was Just Thinking isn't surprised:
Does the fact that a Senior White House official can’t pick out a senior military officer in a line up of hotel doormen really surprise anyone?

With the departure of National Security Advisor General James Jones several months ago, NO ONE in the West Wing has ever donned a uniform in defense of this nation which makes Obama's truly a "Vet-less Administration."
Or it may be that the attitude that Democrats like Obama and his key aide Jarrett have towards the military is one of a service organization like meals on wheels. Or that they just subconsciously expect to give orders to EVERYONE, no matter how inappropriate.
