Trump Visiting North Korea Another Step to Cement His Legacy as the Peace and Prosperity President!

One small step for Trump. A giant leap for peace!

On Sunday in Korea President Trump showed once again that he's willing to take the extra step to advance the cause of peace.  It's impossible to ignore both the historic and symbolic act of peace that we witnessed with that short walk from the South Korean side of the border to the North.

The hastily arranged meeting was initiated when President Trump from Japan tweeted that he would be in South Korea and was willing to meet the North Korean leader at the Demilitarized Zone.

South Korean President Moon described Trump's tweet:

MOON: When I was looking at that tweet, I could really feel that the flower of peace was truly blossoming on the Korean Peninsula.

North Korea's Kim said this to Trump in their brief bilateral meeting:

CHAIRMAN KIM: Myself was surprised yesterday morning when you expressed a willingness to meet with me here, and also when we got the official confirmation late yesterday afternoon.

And also, (inaudible) to meet with you again. And this place of our meeting is a symbol of the separation between the North and South, and also a reminder of unfortunate past. And as the two countries, we share a long unfortunate past, meeting at such place shows that we are willing to put an end to the unfortunate past and also open a new future and provide positive opportunities in the future.

If it was not for our excellent relation between the two of us, it would not have been possible to have this kind of opportunity. So I would like to use this strong relation to create more good news, which nobody expects (inaudible), and also to propel the good relations between our countries (inaudible).

The goal of these meetings was repeated several times by the South Korean President Moon who stressed the "complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula" is the path to peace. President Trump shares those goals and also recognizes that it must be many small steps like those taken today that will enable that process to move forward.

TRUMP: "Speed is not the object, we want to see if we can do a really comprehensive, good deal," Trump said. "This was a great day. This was a very legendary, historic day."

South Korea along with Japan are the United States' two closest allies in the northern Pacific. Over the course of this weekend both have reaffirmed the strength of that alliance.

MOON: With this visit to the Republic of Korea, we have once again reaffirmed our common objectives and strategies. And I’m very glad and heartened by this. Going forward, we will continue to work very closely together and be frank and open in our discussions and communications to strongly solidify and develop the ROK-U.S. alliance.

President Trump is the maker of peace on the Korean Peninsula. You really are the peacemaker of the Korean Peninsula. I hope that this meeting with Chairman Kim Jong Un at the Panmunjom will bring hope to the people of South and North Korea, and that it will be a milestone in the history of humankind towards peace.

While Democrats at home continue in their sputtering rage at all things Trump, our President strides the world stage with confidence showing how American leadership can accomplish great things. Perhaps that is what makes Dems most angry!

Democrat's Debate Highlights Trump Advantage

Dems pandering to their gimmee/free base, promising free health care to illegal aliens and raising taxes on the Middle Class won't sell well outside crazy town!

Two days of Dem debates can be boiled down to who can promise to give the most to the most. Everybody got in on the game. At least Bernie Sanders admitted it would mean a tax increase on the Middle Class. Other Dems were less concerned with how to pay for that Christmas wish list of promises since they know none of them will ever see the light of day even if one of them is elected.

Democrats Who Found Border Conditions for Illegals Intolerable Voted Against Funding for Humanitarian Relief

These people don't care about illegals. They are just pawns in their game to blame Trump!

Oh the humanity!  Remember when Dem leader Rep. Idiot Ocasio-Cortez went to an immigration detention center for a photo op?  Photo in an empty parking lot!

This is the same Rep. Idiot Ocasio-Cortez who corralled others in the Dems Crazy Caucus to oppose ALL funding intended to help these illegals. "Not one more dollar" to help illegals they said. They even supported a plan to withhold beds from children so they would have to sleep on concrete floors!

And while we are here, some perspective on kids in cages.  Thanks to Obama THAT is government policy funded by Democrats:

“I’ve been to that facility, where they talk about cages. That facility was built under President Obama under [Homeland Security] Secretary Jeh Johnson. I was there because I was there when it was built,” said Thomas Homan, who served as Obama’s executive associate director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) for about four years.

At a conference hosted by the Center for Immigration Studies, Honan referenced one time when a Democratic chairman at a congressional hearing asked a Trump official, “You still keeping kids in cages?”

“I would answer the question, ‘The kids are being house in the same facility built under the Obama administration,’ ” Homan said. “If you want to call them cages, call them cages. But if the left wants to call them cages and the Democrats want to call them cages then they have to accept the fact that they were built and funded in FY 2015.”

Homan also said that the design is more about “protecting children.”

Facilities at the border “were not built to take care of children,” he said, noting that “it’s chain link dividers that keeps children separate from unrelated adults. It’s about protecting children.”

Of course none of this will have an impact on the Trump hate crowd as they point to a tragic photo of a man and child who drowned while trying to cross the Rio Grande. Never mind that Democrat's open border policies and refusal to fund border security allowed that to happen. Never mind that Democrats are funding the caravans or that none of them ever shed a tear when many more illegals died crossing the border during the Obama Administration.

Once again, Dems show that people, even their beloved illegal aliens, are just pawns in their game!

Democrats Say "No One is Above the Law" Unless You are an Illegal Alien

Just another example of how Democrats put illegal aliens ahead of American citizens!

Over the past few weeks you've heard the Democrat mantra: "no one is above the law."  They apply that dictum to President Trump, his children, his grandchildren and members of his Administration.

Bernie Sanders said it. So did Nancy Pelosi and Elizabeth Warren.  And many, many more.  They even had a nationwide day of protest with that as the theme. But almost no one showed up!

Other extreme left wing groups expanded on the theme by pointing to court action and judges orders used to stymie Trump Administration initiatives.

But as with everything else in radical left wing politics principles are only relative to the moment.  That goes for the rule of law and judges orders. Take the case of deporting illegals who have exhausted all legal recourse to stay in the United States.  Trump was set to deport them when Democrats objected. As usual, Dems tried to paint the deportation orders as some gross injustice. The same Speaker Pelosi who said no one is above the law suddenly changes her tune and charges that Trump is "scaring children" with threats of deportation. Forget how Dems use fear as a political tool in their zeal to promote global warming, once again it's all relative.

And Bernie "no one is above the law" Sanders now says it's "not appropriate" to enforce the law and a judges ruling.

MORGAN: This is a false narrative. The majority of people we arrest are criminal aliens that have committed additional crimes against American citizens. And the individual we’re going after, we talk about families, these are families that have had due process. They’ve had lawyers. They’ve interpreters. And they were given a final order of removal by a judge. We sent many of them letters saying, “Hey, you’ve got 30 days. Get your affairs in order and come.” These are individuals that had due process and been ordered removed. We’re not ripping up families. We’re enforcing the rule of law, maintaining the integrity of the system. It’s unconscionable what’s being said.

These illegals had their day in court. We paid for their lawyers and interpreters. They had every opportunity to make a claim of asylum and a judge determined it was not valid and ordered them deported. A JUDGE ordered them deported, not Trump!

But apparently Democrats who promote open borders no longer care about the rule of law or judge's orders. By their words and actions they have encouraged a flood of illegal aliens, some of whom lost their lives in an attempt to reach this country and get on the Democrat gravy train. But of course these negative consequences, of which there are more to come as illegals flood into already overburdened cities, will be blamed on Trump not those who are promoting this open revolt against the rule of law!

For years far left radicals have screamed that Republicans are either operating or planning to operate concentration camps. They are at it again. The former taco waitress Rep. Ocasio-Cortez and the anti-Semite Rep. Ilhan Omar have used the imagery of Nazi death camps to oppose efforts to detain illegal aliens pouring into the United States over our southern border. These open borders fanatics don't seem to understand nor care that their repeated use of this rhetoric demeans the horror of the Holocaust.

No one who has ever been to a Nazi concentration camp would ever make that mistake. I went to Dachau near Munich Germany in 1984. Standing next to the ovens used to dispose of the bodies and looking across the barbed wire you can imagine the horrific circumstances which took the lives of millions.

Survivors of the camps speak directly to Ocasio-Cortez and Omar. Will they listen? I wouldn't hold your breath:

• Trump raised $24.8 million since announcing his campaign. That's more than all Democrats combined in their first 24 hours.

When hate Trump protests fizzled in London the haters blamed it on the weather. Just as they cite global warming for nearly all their woes, it was some drizzle in a city where it rains nearly every day that kept protesters home.

OK. If that's the case, was there rain in every city across the United States on Saturday?  Because Trump haters scheduled their big nationwide impeachment rally in cities across the country and only managed to get a few dead-enders and aging hippies to attend.

I tuned into the news channel Saturday morning to see reporters gathered at sites in several cities breathlessly awaiting the start of the protests.  Oh boy, this was it they must have thought.  Now we're going to show Trump just what America thinks of him.  Yeah, well America did show what it thought of Trump by staying as far away as possible.

New York, DC and perhaps a few other cities managed to break out of the double digits but elsewhere, even in left wing cities like Portland Oregon it was pathetic. This is Portland, where you can usually get a few thousand left wing loons to show up any day of the week and scream hate:

More Feigned Hysteria Over Trump Comment on Foreign Information from People Who STILL Ignore Clinton Campaign Collusion w/ Russia

The hate Trump hysterics are at it again after this Trump comment in an interview with ABC's George Stephanopoulus, the former Clinton communications manager:

STEPHANOPOULOS: You want that kind of interference in our elections?

TRUMP: It's not an interference. They have information. I think I would take it. If I thought there was something wrong, I would go maybe to the FBI, if I thought that there was something wrong.

Forget that Hillary Clinton said exactly the same thing. That was enough to gin up the perpetual outrage machine of daily manufactured hysteria that the Democrat media uses to keep it's followers scared and filled with hate:

BARBARA BOXER: You cannot take anything from a foreign government period. End of quote.

Let's just repeat that last one: "You cannot take anything from a foreign government period." Except of course that Dems did. Do any of the tut-tutters above care?

Former U.S. Attorney Andrew McCarthy published a recent analysis of the infamous Steele Dossier. Bought and paid for by Hillary's campaign the dossier used Russian intelligence sources. Keep in mind that Steele is a British/foreign intelligence agent. There is no dispute about this and also no outrage from Democrats.

From McCarthy's report:

Second, there is the matter of the Kremlin sources to whom Steele attributed his information. As mentioned earlier, Steele maintained that a “former top Russian intelligence officer” was one of his principal sources — in particular, for the allegation that Russia had amassed enough kompromat on Trump to blackmail him at a time of Putin’s choosing. Steele also purported to derive insider intelligence from what were variously described as a “senior Russian Foreign Ministry figure,” a “senior Kremlin official,” an official close to the head of Putin’s presidential administration, and/or “two well-placed and established Kremlin sources.” Information was said to be forwarded to Steele through an unidentified person sometimes described as the “trusted compatriot” of these sources. And for all we know, there may have been yet more intermediaries in the telephone game between the sources, the “compatriot,” and Steele.

When he was interviewed by the State Department’s Kathleen Kavalec in October 2016, Steele claimed his sources included Vyacheslav Trubnikov and Vladislov Surkov. A regime eminence, Trubnikov ran Russia’s SVR (the external intelligence service, analogous to our CIA) before Putin came to power. Thereafter, he served in other key posts: first deputy for foreign affairs, ambassador to India, and omnipresent counselor. Surkov, who has been Russia’s deputy prime minister, may now be Putin’s top adviser — referred to as the “Kremlin demiurge” and “Putin’s Rasputin.”

Really? We’re supposed to believe that when Steele was not slumming with the wannabe likes of Sergei Millian, he was plugged in to the crème de la Kremlin? Count me skeptical. As Daniel Hoffman, the CIA’s former station chief in Moscow, told the Daily Caller’s Chuck Ross, trusted figures in Russia’s national-security bureaucracy “never stop” working for the Kremlin. In Trubnikov’s case, “there’s no such thing as a former intelligence officer.” And Surkov might as well be Putin’s right hand. If these characters were Steele’s sources, they were not spying on the Kremlin but getting the West believe what the Kremlin wanted to West to believe.

Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s final report found no conspiracy between the Kremlin and the Trump campaign. What remain to be investigated are the neon-flashing indications that we’ve been had.

Hillary's campaign paid for Russian disinformation and used every lever of power in the Obama Administration to direct that disinformation to the FBI to undermine Trump. Now that the Mueller probe found NO COLLUSION between Trump and Russia will we finally get to how Hillary and the Democrats were used as Russian pawns?

Not to mention how liberals routinely took the side of Putin and the Russians in opposing Trump's military and energy policy. You couldn't find better puppets for Putin that the American left who hate Trump. Whose side are THEY ON? And they call Trump a "traitor?" 

Radical Islamist Dem Congresswoman Ilhan Omar (D-MN) Guilty of Campaign Finance Violations

Just another Democrat who says Trump is "not above the law" while breaking it themselves. Hint: this one is ever weirder!

First there's the certified loon Rep. Alexandria Ocassio Cortez (D-NY), whose prior experience as a waitress at a taco restaurant has proved invaluable. After all her lunacy in the past five months she has the gall to ask for a raise. Being in the top 8% of wagers earners with her current salary of $174,000 plus expenses isn't enough. Maybe that's what forced Rep. Omar to break the law.

Editorial from the Minneapolis Star Tribune.  Hardly a right wing paper:

U.S. Rep. Ilhan Omar is back in the news again, and not in a good way. The former state representative who won a seat in Congress last fall continues to be dogged by past missteps, this time eight violations of Minnesota campaign-finance law that will cost her nearly $3,500 in reimbursements and civil penalties.

So complex were the allegations that the state Campaign Finance Board spent nearly a year assessing the case, deposing staff people and former staff people, along with Omar herself. The investigation was broadened in October — just a month before her election to Congress — to look more deeply into the allegations. Board Executive Director Jeff Sigurdson said that between six and eight people were deposed separately.

In an October 2018 editorial, we called on Omar to more fully explain her travel and other expenses. We noted that the allegations “suggest a pattern of carelessness and/or self-dealing with legally restricted funds. Neither conclusion inspires the confidence voters deserve to have in someone they send to the U.S. House to represent them.”

It is even more disturbing, therefore, to learn that among the board’s latest findings was a troubling discovery that is far beyond its jurisdiction, but worthy of greater scrutiny nevertheless. Omar, for two years running, filed joint tax returns with a man she was living with but not legally married to. Complicating matters further, she was legally married to another man at the time.

It’s against the law in Minnesota to file jointly unless one filer is legally married to the other. Last year Omar told the Star Tribune that she had married her partner “in her faith,” and had earlier divorced her first husband “in her faith.” That’s fine for religious purposes. But for tax purposes, only civil marriages qualify. It’s not known whether she benefited materially by filing jointly. That is something that voters, who are obliged to follow tax laws no matter how painful, are entitled to know.

It’s not too much to expect that a lawmaker would check with a tax attorney on a rather complicated marital status before filing. And when questions arise, it’s a violation to use campaign funds to clear up those personal issues, as Omar apparently did. The Campaign Finance Board has ordered that she reimburse her campaign $3,469 for violations related to her tax returns and non-campaign travel costs. She must also pay a $500 civil penalty.

Omar is no stranger to controversy. As a new state House member, she collected $2,500 in speaking fees — $2,000 from Normandale Community College and $500 from Inver Hills Community College — for appearances made shortly after she took office. Rep. Steve Drazkowski, R-Mazeppa, who publicly noted that state law prohibits legislators from collecting such fees from groups that have business before the Legislature, made that public, and Omar returned the money. Drazkowski also filed the latest complaint. “It’s very clear there are huge ethical problems with Rep. Omar,” he told an editorial writer, adding that the House should consider an ethics investigation.

They didn't even mention that one of the men she is married to is suspected of being her own brother. But that's a cultural thing and it's racist if you bring it up.
This is the woman who would impose that same Shariah law on as many Americans as possible.

You have to wonder if there aren't Democrats in the districts of these problem children who might want to primary them!

Even the British publication The Daily Mail, which is routinely negative in it's coverage of Trump just couldn't help gushing day after day. When the Trump's finally left, they ran a story with extraordinary praise for First Lady Melania rejecting all the criticism she receives in the U.S. from the stalwarts of hate and division. It's not hard to see why they loved Melania. She never put a foot wrong. And neither did the President.

For those who remember how badly Obama botched the toast at the State Dinner in his honor at Buckingham Palace in 2011, there was no repeat with Trump. From the moment Marine One, the President's helicopter swooped low over Buckingham Palace and landed on the lawn the entire visit was a huge success.

Looking out the window one wonders if Charles, the Prince of Wales said to the Queen: "look mummy, someone is landing on our lawn!"

Smiles were an abundant part of this visit underlying it's success for both sides.

This is what you call the "red carpet" treatment!

The Daily Mail: "Queen Elizabeth II laid on the grandest of welcomes to Donald Trump and his entourage last night, the highest of honours possible for a visiting head of state."

The Trump haters campaign of division and disunity was emphatically rejected by thousands of British who showed up to welcome Trump.  The media may focus on the over hyped small protests or the absurd rantings of failed left wing politicians, the people know better.

The trip wasn't just all glamorous dinners and public events. Important moments like honoring those who gave their lives defending our freedom was a constant on this 75th anniversary of D-Day. Below, President Trump and First Lady Melania place a wreath and stand in honor before the grave of the Unknown Warrior in Westminster Abbey.

Later in the Churchill War Rooms, the bunker where Winston Churchill directed World War II the memories of that preserved scene are still fresh to those who visit:

After Westminster Abbey, time for some refreshments. The Trump's joined the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall at Clarence House for Tea.

Winfield House, the residence of the U.S. Ambassador in London was the scene for another glamorous evening as the President and First Lady prepare to welcome the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall.

There was plenty of time for serious business in meetings with out going British Prime Minister Theresa May. Even then, the mood was light and cordial:

More somber was the D-Day 75th Anniversary remembrance in Portsmouth from which many soldiers embarked on that fateful day.  As always Trump was at the center with the Queen:

Outside the left wing fever swamps of hate and division Trump is spreading the message of strength and allied unity.  Newfound respect for America!

Anti-Trump Protests in London Fizzle. Is This The Best Left Wing Fascists Can Do?

The left always pretends they stand for the majority. They can't even do that anymore!

Reading or watching the anti-Trump media (which is 90%) you would think everyone hated Trump, and the United States, as much as they do.  Oh well, like the Russia, Russia, Russia fantasy of deluded Democrats over the past few years we've learned that fakes news is the order of the day!

Regardless of what you read in the Trump hate media, the State Visit to Britain is a spectacular success. I'll post a photo review later. But for now, the vaunted "250,000 protesters" never came anywhere close. Here's a media slice of what the Trump haters expected:

DAVID ASMAN: Major protests against him is planned for tomorrow.

BENJAMIN HALL: Tomorrow when the real protests are expected to happen, up to 250,000 people.

BRIAN WILLIAMS: Donald Trump’s unfavorability rating in the U.K. is 72%. Tomorrow, he may well feel it.

CHRISTIANE AMANPOUR: Tomorrow will be protest day.

LAWRENCE O’DONNELL: Protesters are expected to be out in force in London tomorrow.

HALLIE JACKSON: Tomorrow don’t forget the president has a series of events with Prime Minister Theresa May. That is the day we expect the protests.

PETER ALEXANDER: Huge protests are expected to take place beginning tomorrow.

SHEPARD SMITH: A massive demonstration is planned for tomorrow, and the organizers say they expect a quarter million people or so could show up.

And a giant nothingburger to that!

Despite media like Time Magazine that says Brits hate Trump, Bloomberg grudgingly reported "London Protests Smaller Than Expected on Damp Day." Was "damp day" a reference to rain? When is it not raining in London? Is this REALLY the best the left can do? Take your pick of any Republican President visiting London and you get a better crowd than that.

And as usual, this left wing freak show left behind a mountain of garbage while claiming to care about the environment!

Perhaps it wasn't "damp day" that kept protests away but people who realized that on the 75th anniversary of D-Day it wasn't the right time for another left wing anti-American freak show. Either way, from Queen Elizabeth II on down, the British people who are not left wing toadies more in line with Russia's Vladimir Putin are steadfast and heartfelt in our mutual bond of alliance, family and friendship!
