22 year old Michael Levin, from Bucks County, Pennsylvania died this week fighting for Israel in Lebanon.
It was his dream from teenage years to emigrate to Israel and serve in the Israeli Defense Forces. His grandfather was a Holocaust survivor, and Michael had a special affinity for Israel.
When war started, Michael cut short a visit to his family in Pennsylvania to return to his unit.
1,200 mourners joined his family at the Mount Herzl Cemetary, the resting place of some of Israel's most honored citizens.
He gave his life life defending Israel and fighting on behalf of all those who value freedom.
