It's bad enough when you have hatefilled lefties like this bunch at Facebook claiming "Hurricane Gustav is Sarah Palin's fault" or the morbidly obese and despicable Michael Moore saying "Gustav is proof that there is a God in Heaven." We expect that kind of vile behavior from people so soaked in hate that they don't know anything but that.
But where do they get such ideas? From their leaders of course. Here's former DNC Chair Don Fowler caught in a conversation on the plane back from the Denver Convention laughing about the possibility of death and destruction from Gustav:
"The hurricane’s going to hit New Orleans about the time they start. The timing is -- at least it appears now that it’ll be there Monday. That just demonstrates that God’s on our side. [Laughter] Everything’s cool."
It's amazing that these guys could be cheerleading for a natural disaster. But then, haven't they also been secretly pleased when U.S. troops were killed in Iraq?
They should be ashamed, but I doubt they have the moral capacity necessary for such an emotion.
