Favorite Videos of the Bush Years

You'll miss him when he is gone!

"I can hear you, the rest of the world hears you." It was one of those spontaneous moments that revealed the real George Bush; the one the "news" media did their best to hide.

Little more than a month after the September 11th attacks President Bush throws out the ceremonial first pitch of game three of the World Series at Yankee Stadium in New York City on October 30, 2001. The pitch was perfect; right into the Catcher's mitt but the real story was the crowd. Thunderous chants of "USA, USA" rang throughout. If you don't get choked up over this one you are probably dead or a Democrat.

Oval Office Address September 11th, 2001. It was a grim speech after the unspeakable horror and grief of that day. It was also the moment President Bush became a wartime leader:

Lighter Moments: At the 2007 Radio & Television Correspondents Association Dinner President Bush showed he could make fun of himself better than any late night comedian. But my favorite from these annual events was his appearance at the last such dinner in April 2008. At the conclusion of his remarks he conducted the U.S. Marine Corps Band:
