Video & Text Highlights of Cheney Speech

Previously, I posted the links to both the Obama and Cheney speeches delivered Thursday morning on the topic of national security, terrorism, the terrorist detainees at Guantanamo Bay in Cuba and the waterboarding of three of those terrorist leaders.

Once again, it's important to note that former Vice President Cheney's speech had been scheduled weeks ago and Obama suddenly decided to give his adddress at the National Archives using a copy of the U.S. Constitution as a backdrop at the exact same hour Cheney's speech was scheduled.

Since most Americans are not likely to see or hear more of Cheney's speech than a few selected soundbites, I highly recommend sending this link to family and friends who may be less well informed on what truly are matters of life and death for every American.
