By now you might be aware that the Congressional junket to Copenhagen led by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi cost the taxpayer over $1 million.
"They're going because it's the biggest party of the year," Sen. Inhofe said. "The worst thing that happened there is they ran out of caviar."And once the Congressfolk got to Copenhagen they stayed in the lap of luxury in hotel rooms costing over $2,000 a night. Our investigation found that the congressional delegation was so large, it needed three military jets: two 737's and a Gulfstream Five -- up to 64 passengers -- traveling in luxurious comfort.
Along with those who flew commercial, we counted at least 101 Congress-related attendees. All for a summit that failed to deliver a global climate deal.

But the Copenhagen trip wasn't the exception to the rule. Judicial Watch obtained this bar bill from a Congressional flight to Israel and Iraq in 2008:
And these are the people we are now going to ask to implement a spending freeze to control the budget deficit?
