Freedom: Iraqi Style

The voting for Iraq's permament government has begun. Iraqi soldiers who will be busy guarding polling places on voting day are getting a head start. Please, someone call Congressman Murtha's office. Apparently he doesn't know that Iraq has an army and that the Iraqis themselves will assume most of the responsiblity for security during the election.

Third time is the charm!

Also voting early are the Iraqi expatriates in the United States and around the world. After voting near Detroit, Michigan the man below nearly jumps for joy. Like so many Iraqis that endured the suffering and horror inflicted on their country for decades, they are uniformly thrilled with the progress that has been made in such a short time.




A woman interviewed after voting, held up her purple stained finger and in what could only be a message to the Cindy Sheehan and Defeaticrat Murtha crowd she said "Anybody who doesn't appreciate what America has done, and President Bush, let them go to hell!"
