Tens of Thousands Greet Bush in Tbilisi


Tens of thousands flooded Freedom Square in Tbilisi, Georgia, to welcome President Bush and hear his message of freedom, hope and peace. The massive crowd showed their appreciation for President Bush's support for the former Soviet republic's fledgling democracy following their "Rose Revolution" just 18 months prior. No one in the crowd seemed concerned about Barbara Streisand's warning of a theocracy of the "religious right" (see below). But then again, people who have known real tyranny know the difference between reality and hysteria.
