Remembering The Gipper: One Year Later

Shortly after the death of President Reagan, I published an account of my experiences with the President. It's been a year since his death and the legacy of his farsighted vision and the vacuousness of his opponents continues to illuminate present day politics.

The ideological partnership between President Reagan and Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher of Great Britain enabled great changes to bring freedom and prosperity to parts of the world where they had long been denied. This photo, taken by the author, was at the White House on the occasion of the Prime Ministers last State Visit to Washington.
