Democrat Liberal/Socialism Fails the Weak and the Poor in New Orleans

Here's a thought. The chart below shows which areas of Louisiana voted most heavily for the re-election of Senator Mary Landrieu (D) in the Senate election of 2002.

The heaviest concentration of votes, which assured Senator Landrieu's narrow win over the Republican challenger came from New Orleans.

And yet, Senator Landrieu garnered the largest share of federal grant money for Corps of Enginners projects, but NEVER proposed legislation to upgrade the levy's that protect New Orleans.

No wonder the race pimps and corrupt Louisiana politicians went into instant blame Bush mode, even as the winds of Katrina were still raging. Otherwise, they might have to explain this:
