During his surprise visit to Afghanistan, President Bush took time to thank the American soldiers serving so far from home. One message he was particualarly keen to send is "the United States doesn't cut and run."
While echoing the words of Congresswoman Jean Schmidt (R-OH), who directed a similar phrase to Congressman John Murtha (Defeaticrat-PA), won't win President Bush any friends on the left, it went over very well among the troops who are called on to make the sacrifice.
