- As we noted here, Neville Nancy Pelosi is all for dialogue with America's enemies. The latest enemy being Iran. But neither she, nor Harry Reid, the Democrat leader in the U.S. Senate will accept President Bush's invitation for a dialogue on funding our troops in Iraq. Whose side are they on anyway?
- Meanwhile, the Russians are threatening a "new cold war" over U.S. plans to erect a missile defense which will protect us from Iranian nukes. It took more than 40 years for the Russians to lose the last one. But considering that Democrats in the House and Senate are acting more and more like the French every day we wonder if the Ruskies might not just win this one.
- It seems that the story about Democrat presidential candidate John Edwards trying to run off that poor neighbor who has lived on his land since the day he was born has legs. Edwards' neighbor Monty Johnson is besieged with press interview requests. Johnson, 55 and no longer able to work due to arthritis lives in a small trailer on the same property his family has owned for generations. Edwards garage at his estate is larger than Johnson's trailer. Edwards Secret Service detail went so far as to openly trespass on Johnson's property and refused to explain why. Two Americas. One for rich Democrats, another for the rest of us.
