Global Baloney Rally in Michigan May be Snowed Out

The longest and coldest spring in decades won't stop these scaremongers!
Snow won't dampen global-warming rallies

The weather forecast for Saturday's global warming rallies in Grand Rapids and Holland calls for snow and cold rain and temperatures in the 40s -- about 10 degrees below normal.

For some, this might make global warming a tough sell.

"I've thought of that," said Lisa Locke, associate director of the West Michigan Environmental Action Council, which is organizing the three Grand Rapids "Step it Up" rallies.

"I think that's an easy excuse, but if we're really reasonable about it, we're not talking about individual weather on individual days," Locke said. "We're talking about something much larger, on a global scale, which science has been tracking for decades."
These people have thought of everything. Everything but the truth. Perhaps Ms. Locke would like to think about how the last decades show warming only after an abnormally strong cold spell which many of yesteryear's alarmists warned was heralding in the new ice age?

The article goes on to state that "Environmentalists want Congress to cut carbon emissions by 80 percent in the U.S. by the year 2050." No mention of any other nation, including China which is building hundreds of new coal fired power plants or the radical change in our lifestyles and the costs that would be necessary. Nor any discussion of the fact that even if we were to radically restructure the U.S. economy to meet their demands not one scientist will come forward and predict it would have the slightest positive impact on global warming.

Haven't thought of all that have you Lisa Locke? What's the matter? Been out in the cold too long?
