Pelosi Throws Another Hissy Fit over Cheney Remark

I guess when you can't get any legislation worth a damn passed you have to do something...like COMPLAIN!

Pelosi calls Cheney swipe undignified

...Capitol Hill was abuzz Thursday with discussion of the vice president Dick Cheney's assertion in an interview with Politico that House Democratic leaders had been surprisingly supine: “They are not carrying the big sticks I would have expected.”

Cheney added that when he served in the House, “We would not have had a Speaker who, from my perspective, is that far out of the sort of mainstream — she is a San Francisco Democrat,
certainly entitled to her views, but able to dictate policy as effectively as she apparently does to the rest of the caucus.”

The speaker, a few hours after winning a long-sought victory on an energy bill that increases auto efficiency requirements, said in an interview with Politico that she had paid little attention to the hullabaloo.

“To tell you the truth, I’ve been really busy the last 24 hours,” Pelosi said. “How can I say this with the dignity of the office that I hold, and especially the dignity of the office that the vice president holds? It’s so beneath the dignity of his office — and mine — that I don’t even want to address it.”
Readers may recall the last time Damascus Nancy threw a hissy fit over a remark by President Cheney in February. At that time, she threatened to call President Bush and tell on Cheney!

And when it comes to the "dignity" of her office, we need but recall that this is the same woman who once hissed that Iraq is not a "war to win" And has attacked our Commander in Chief in the most vicious, personal terms for years.

She's said that the President is “oblivious, in denial, (and) dangerous.” "He's "incompetent", "In fact, he's not a leader. He's a person who has no judgment."And Pelosi has called her Republican colleagues “immoral" and "corrupt,” and has said they're running a criminal enterprise.

When Leslie Stahl asked Pelosi about her acid remarks towards President Bush she replied: "Well, I'm sorry, that's his problem."

This harpy dares lecture anyone about "dignity."
