Freed FARC Hostage Speaks

"Now I don't have to dream about being free anymore!"

A deeply moving personal statement by former hostage Mark Gonsalves at a press conference in San Antonio, Texas:

Chained like dogs and forced to sleep in the mud FARC hostages had no Geneva Convention rights, no lawyers to file appeals and no recourse other than hope. Gonsalves reminds us that the FARC continue to hold many more. Some of whom have been prisoners for years. "Don't tell us that you're not terrorists, show us that you're not terrorists. Let those other hostages come home," Gonsalves said.

One wonders how the Hollywood liberals and Democrats like Carter,Pelosi and Obama who have either admired or vowed to work with the FARC's chief patron, Venezuelan dictator Hugo Chavez, will respond to this reality check?
