This week mark's Obama's 16th month in office and despite his solemn pledge, we STILL have combat troops in Iraq!
Question: Is there ONE campaign promise Obama has kept? One of the central pillars of his presidential campaign was a solemn vow to end the war in Iraq and bring the troops home. Obama may have hedged all over the place on exactly how he would make the withdrawal, but all during the campaign he repeatedly insisted he would bring U.S. combat troops home within 16 months after taking office.
Well, this week marked Obama's 16th month in office and U.S. combat troops are STILL in Iraq!
Will the lefties who spit rhetorical poison at President Bush for eight years "Bush lied us into war," now turn on the man who vowed he would end that war by now? Or, will these same lefties give Obama a pass and reveal once again that they really don't stand on moral principles, only a pursuit of political power?
Meanwhile, news during this anniversary week has been flooded with Obama, maligning the Arizona immigration law and fanning the flames of racial and ethnic discord by planting the false idea that the Arizona bill will lead to racial profiling. What a convenient way to keep people from noticing the news about Iraq.
In Obama land, one big lie is used to cover up another big lie. And in Iraq, the killing continues!
