Schiff should be held to the same standard he demanded of others!
When Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) was Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee he personally went to the White House to examine FISA warrants that are at the heart of the Trump-Russia hoax. Dems were outraged and demanded Nunes recuse himself from the House Russia investigation. Nunes complied.
Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) led that charge. Now we learn that Schiff secretly met with multiple witnesses in the Trump probe including witnesses Michael Cohen and Glenn Simpson. And Schiff was a constant feature on television cable channels repeating every lie that has now been definitively debunked by the Mueller probe.
Schiff appeared on television hundreds of times assserting that he had evidence of Trump-Russia collusion. He never produced that evidence and it has been disproven by the Mueller report.
He has politicized the formerly bi-partisan Intelligence committee and made it clear that he has no credibility to continue with any serious work before the committee. Republicans have had enough. On Thursday they introduced the following letter:
“Your actions both past and present are incompatible with your duty as Chairman of this Committee,” the letter said. “We have no faith in your ability to discharge your duties in a manner consistent with your Constitutional responsibility and urge your immediate resignation as Chairman of this Committee.”

Prosecutor took hundreds of thousands in PAC contributions from George Soros!
Suddenly this week the prosecutor's office in Chicago dropped all charges against actor Jussie Smollett. It wasn't because new information came to light. No,Joe Magats, the first assistant state attorney in Illinois in announcing the decision to drop charges said:
"This was not an exoneration. To say that he was exonerated by us or anyone is not true," Magats said. "We believe he did what he was charged with doing."
The assistant prosecutor said that Smollett had completed 16 hours of community service working with Rev. Jesse Jackson's Rainbow Push coalition and forfeited a $10,000 bond. That was deemed sufficient to drop the charges and expunge Smollett's record.
Hundreds of young black men currently in jail in Chicago would love to have that deal. But they aren't supported by wealthy and powerful donors like those who backed the State's Prosecutor Kim Foxx, who despite earlier reports never fully recused herself in this case. Kim Foxx benefited from over $400,000 in PAC contributions to her election by Nazi collaborator George Soros. Big money, and celebrity wins again!
Never mind that this hate-filled and divisive hoax did irreparable damage to race and gender relations not just in Chicago but the entire country.
Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel asked: "Where is the accountability in the system? You cannot have because of a person’s position, one set of rules apply to them and another set of rules apply to everybody else," he said.
Prosecutor Foxx also had direct contact with the Smollett family as well as a former Obama Administration official. Text messages show appeals for favoritism. Obviously those appeals succeeded.
Chicago's Fraternal Order of Police has requested a federal investigation into funny business by the Soros funded prosecutor. Federal law enforcement may also file charges against Smollett. Until that happens there is an open question about what price for justice for the poor in Chicago!

In some cities, people might be shocked if the mayor called out the prosecutor for running a crooked system that allowed a Hollywood star like the smarmy Jussie Smollett to walk away from charges he created a fake hate crime. But this is Chicago, and is there anything, really, that surprises Chicago anymore? No. Thanks to the office of Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx, Smollett gets to walk away from 16 felony counts of a grand jury indictment. Her office dropped all charges. Smollett blamed the alleged attack on mythical Trump supporters. According to his story, he apparently fought them off with a tuna fish sandwich in one hand and his cellphone in the other, just like real Hollywood tough guy Jason Momoa. Or not. But there’s more to it. There’s always more to it.
Such hypocrites! Watch the video. It's a gem! Not one of these Dems who demanded the Green New Deal voted for it. The resolution went down to defeat 0-57.
Sadly, little chance of accountability from Dems who continue to double down on lies, hate and hysteria. It's all politics to them and it always was!

The lies, hate and hysteria that Dems have fomented over the past two years quickly spiraled out of control. At Mike's America some Trump hating readers made repeated denunciations of Trump as a "traitor." When asked for evidence we were told that it was coming. Just wait for the Mueller report.
Across the country deluded Trump haters clung to the fantasy that Mueller would save them from themselves and justify their irrational hatred. They praised Mueller to the hilt and feared Trump would fire him. One woman even named her dog "Mueller" because she so believed the Special Counsel would bring down Trump. Others prayed for Mueller. I know the idea of Hollywood celebrities praying is a foreign concept to most but perhaps they were praying to trees?

Mueller was there man. Time Magazine made him their runner up for Man of the Year. He could do no wrong. They even sold t-shirts:
There can be no doubt that Mueller took his job seriously. He even staffed his office with lawyers who were aligned with Hillary Clinton and the Democrats. No one is going to say they didn't try:

So now here we are. After two plus years of lies, hate and hysteria directed at Trump we get the Special Counsel's report and find the charges were nothing but a giant, partisan lie!
KEY FINDING: The Special Counsel’s investigation did not find that the Trump campaign or anyone associated with it conspired or coordinated with Russia in its efforts to influence the 2016 U.S. presidential election. As the report states: “[T]he investigation did not establish that members of the Trump Campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in its election interference activities.”
And no more indictments either. Despite all the Democrats who insisted it was only a matter of time before Trump and his family were going to jail, nothing. A few people who were indicted were on matters wholly unrelated to Donald Trump and his campaign.
Then there are the others who were totally innocent but who had their lives destroyed by the costs of this investigation. Where do they go to get back what was taken from them? They should sue Democrats and the media!
Dems Double Down on Lies and Hate
You would think that after it was clear there was nothing in the Mueller report to support Dem's outrageous lies they might stop. But no. On Saturday in Charleston, South Carolina (not far from Mike's America) Dem candidate for president Robert Francis O'Rourke said this:
O’Rourke: You have a president who, in my opinion, beyond a shadow of a doubt, sought to, no matter how ham-handedly, to collude with the Russian government, a foreign power to undermine and influence our elections.
You want evidence of TREASON? That's it! Lying to the American people when you KNOW the truth and undermining a sitting President is EXACTLY what the RUSSIANS want.
Perhaps now might be a good time to subject Robert Francis O'Rourke, members of his family, associates and campaign staff to the same kind of scrutiny that Trump has endured for two years! Perhaps that should be the rule for ALL these Democrats who lied and continue to lie. Force them all to hire expensive lawyers while government agents dig through every aspect of their lives. Nothing to hide then you have nothing to fear right?

Obama ignored the advice of his generals and pulled all U.S. troops out of Iraq in 2011. He then scoffed when ISIS took over the areas the U.S. abandoned. Reuters’ reporter Joseph Menn uncovered shocking information about Robert Francis O'Rourke in the run up to the 2018 election for U.S. Senate in Texas where O'Rourke was competing for the seat currently held by Ted Cruz. What Menn discovered is that Robert Francis was part of a hacking collective in his youth. And while writing under the pseudonym "Psychedelic Warlord" said:

Think for a minute how the story might have been handled if O'Rourke was a Republican. It would have been released the week before the election with every network running stories.
Apparently it was big news to dig through Justice Brett Kavanaugh's yearbook but not so important when we are talking about electing a President!

Anyone with half a brain saw this coming a long time ago. Even as Hollywood and elite leftists in the United States continued to praise the Bolivarian socialist revolution in Venezuela the disconnect with reality grew. Shortages of milk and even toilet paper have been common for years. Now, hospitals without electricity or medicine, and the people without safe drinking water. All because the reality of socialism has replaced the fantasy.
Those lucky enough to have been able to flee Venezuela are trying to warn Americans. Daniel Di Martino now in college in the United States came here when he was 16. Things were bad then. He warns:

That includes another gem of idiocy from Rep. Occasio-Cortez who blames Trump for the shooting because of his "Muslim ban." Note to fool, there never was such a ban.

Maybe she doesn't read the New York Times.

Every four years Republican presidential candidates submit to televised debates moderated by left of center anchors from the mainstream media. Many questions are biased and unfair yet Republicans submit to it every time.
Not Democrats. The same people who went ballistic when Trump called the media the "enemy of the people" have decided they don't want any tough questions in their 2020 presidential debates. They banned Fox News from hosting any debates.
Yes, the crowd that went nuts when Trump banned CNN's Jim Acosta for his inappropriate behavior is now cheering the Dems decision to cut and run from Fox. This is especially ironic since Fox News was one of the media organizations which complained when Acosta was banned. This same CNN reporter hasn't said a word in support of Fox. How typical.
We should also point out that many of these media outlets like CNN and MSNBC go out of their way to attack Fox News and their viewers.
Here you have it: the same people who say any criticism by Trump of the media is dangerous to democracy have banned Fox News from debates and continue to attack the 1st Amendment rights of that organization and it's viewers. Note to Fox, stop defending these hypocrites!
I washed my car last week and parked it for a few hours in the open. Now it's covered with pollen. Can you hear the laughter if I claimed it was a hate crime?
Mayor Darnell Byrd McPherson, of Lamar, South Carolina, claims her Hyundai and her husband’s Buick were sprayed with a strange residue by a “disgruntled person.” Authorities, however, doubted a crime had occurred and claimed the substance was actually pollen.
Well, apparently Darnell Byrd McPherson the Mayor of Lamar, South Carolina came home to find her and her husband's cars covered with a yellowish substance and immediately assumed it was a racial attack.
We are grateful the person or persons did not try to take our lives but the culprits will be identified and prosecuted.
Love conquers hate and my husband and I refuse to be intimidated by those who perpetrated this act of vandalism which I classify as an act of hatred. "
Investigations were launched by both local and state police despite the fact that officers could clearly see the substance was pollen and is common on vehicles throughout the state this time of year.
It was no coincidence that the Mayor's claim came the same time as bills are before the South Carolina legislature to address hate crimes. Just as it was with the nationwide Jussie Smollett hoax when hate crimes bills were introduced in the U.S. Senate. McPherson mentioned the bills in her statement.
Oh, and for those who continue to repeat the falsehood that hate crimes are on the rise, the only increase has been in the number of agencies reporting hate crimes. 1,000 more agencies reporting and you're likely to see an increase.
Oddly, hate crime reporting shows the biggest target are Jews. "Jews comprise about 2 percent of the U.S. population, but 58 percent of religiously motivated crimes were directed against Jews." Yet Democrats insisted on watering down a resolution condemning antisemitism that criticized Rep. Ilhan Omar who has made repeated anti-Jewish, anti-Israel remarks.
Somehow pollen is now racist and it's Trump's fault!
If these Green New Dealers really believed what they are saying why don't they actually live the way they want to force the rest of us to?
Sen. Bernie Sanders thinks the Soviet Union was a great example of equality for all. He honeymooned in the Soviet Union, there are videos of him drunk and shirtless signing with Russians in 1988 (video provided by backers of Francis "Beto" O'Rourke). As Mayor of Burlington Vermont he flew the Soviet flag outside his office. Bernie was colluding with Russians back when the left thought Russian collusion was cool.
On ABC's The View Bernie was asked if the Green New Deal was too extreme and went too far. He responded "You cannot go too far on the issue of climate change. The future of the planet is at stake, OK?”" Anything goes. Take away people's cars, don't let them fly on planes. Force them to rebuild their homes and businesses.
Too bad the ladies of The View didn't ask Bernie about his multiple homes. Bernie is real big on telling the rest of us how to live.... but...
And perhaps someone needs to ask Bernie how he can afford a $600,000 vacation home on a U.S. Senator's $174,000 salary?
Ocasio-Cortez Flies High and Drives Hard
The left's new darling du jour Rep. Ocasio-Cortez is another prime backer of a plan that would vastly restrict how Americans live. Yet after the release of campaign spending reports we learn that despite having a subway station 138 feet from her office she and members of her campaign were notorious for their use of car services. And she would have the rest of us give up jet travel and take the train. But not her. Plenty of spending on air travel. Oh, and did I mention that she wants Americans to give up eating beef? After all, climate change is like World War II or something. Bernie said so. He should know. He's old enough to have fought in that war but back to AOC:
Ocasio-Cortez is a bridge too far even for some on the left who must be embarrassed that this no-nothing is taken seriously by anyone. Patrick Moore, a co-founder of Green Peace has had enough. His Twitter feed shames this "pompous little twit" so often it must leave a mark!
At the risk of being repetitive, I repeat:
Nothing, nada, zilch, in today’s weather or climate is anywhere near out of the ordinary with the past 10,000 years.

Imagine the reaction if Republicans had gone after Obama's children and family! The Democrats opening gambit in their hate Trump 24/7 abuse of power went nowhere with the hearing last week of Trump's former attorney Michael Cohen. Despite their best efforts to spin, Cohen testified that there was no collusion of Trump with Russia, no risk of Trump being blackmailed and a further debunking of the Steele dossier hoax. But since when did facts get in the way of the Democrats hatred of Trump?
Not content to stop there the abuse of power ramped up this week with this demand of Trump family, Administration personnel and associates:

I can't think of any precedent for this kind of obvious fishing expedition. No doubt critics will say these folks have nothing to fear if they've done nothing wrong. But each person will have to hire an expensive Washington lawyer to make sure they do not find themselves in legal jeopardy for failing to comply. Clearly that was one intention of the Democrats. Can you imagine Republicans ever doing the same? Will the Senate Judiciary Committee under Republican control be issuing demands of Obama's family? No way.
This is all part of a very public show trial strategy by Democrats to smear Trump and everyone associated with him by any means fair or foul. It harkens to the show trial era of Stalinist Russia. Talk about collusion! What Dems are doing is a bigger hoax on the American people than Jussie Smollett but using the same tactic. Lie over and over and hope someone believes you!
And will the same critics who attacked Reagan's walk out strategy and also attacked Trump for his admit their mistake if we succeed?
I know they don't teach history in the public schools anymore and what they teach in universities is heavy on propaganda and short on facts so I offer these reflections for those who were deprived of the truth.
Reagan's Reykjavik walkout worked! Mainstream media spin has it that the Trump-Kim summit in Hanoi was a failure. Many of the news reports use that word. President Trump broke up the meeting early because North Korea insisted on a gradual lessening of sanctions and refused to agree to the program of total denuclearisation that has been the subject of discussions between U.S. and North Korean sides.
But history teaches us the lesson that a walkout, which might be considered a failure at the time, is anything but. It's another Reagan lesson. Soviet Leader Mikhail Gorbachev offered a stunning deal on nuclear disarmament if only President Reagan would give up the Strategic Defense Initiative (SDI) also called "Star Wars." Despite the Soviets offering Reagan everything else he wanted he walked rather than back out on his core commitment to preserve U.S. defensive developments against missile technology. That same technology is protecting America today in many ways.

On the journey home aboard Air Force One Reagan and his aides worked out a public relations strategy to put a positive spin on these events. It partially succeeded with the New York Times reporting "Reagan Triumphs From Failure in Iceland." Hard to believe the New York Times reporting this way on Trump's summit with Kim but it shows how far the Times has declined as a newspaper. Other partisan media were less generous. In the view of many history now records that the Reykjavik summit was not a failure but the moment the Cold War truly ended. Will history repeat itself?
It's quite possible that within a year or so we might have Chairman Kim visiting the White House to sign historic agreements ending the Korean War and a total denuclearisation of the Korean peninsula. And wouldn't that be just months before the 2020 election?
