Jussie Smollett Guilty of National Race Hoax. Media Accomplices Should Be Charged for Spreading Racial Animus and Misinformation

 Another of the left's BIG LIES go down in flames. If racial strife was THIS BAD, Dems wouldn't have to fake it!

Picture this: Chicago is known as the "Windy City" and on January 29, 2019 Chicago was at the beginning of a record cold wave. It doesn't get much colder in the lower 48 states than it does in Chicago in January. It was 1 degree Fahrenheit that night at 2 AM when actor/activist Jussie Smollett went out to buy a snack and some eggs. Security cameras lining his route showed the streets were empty. Just Jussie and two men he claimed attacked him, used racial and homophobic slurs, put a noose around his neck and doused him with what Jussie claimed was bleach.  He also claims the men screamed "This MAGA country" in a reference to President Trump's Make America Great Again rallying cry.

The first thing to jump out at you is what is Jussie doing out at 2 AM when the city is shut down during a cold emergency?  The second thing, 2 guys shouting "This MAGA country" in a city that votes 80% or more for Democrats?  Yeah, something wasn't right here.

But none of that common sense outlook seemed to matter to major national media which instantly made Jussie a cause celebre. Jussie was the victim of a vicious racial and homophobic attack by Trump supporters. The story fit media maven's prejudices and their desire to stir the pot of racial animus and declare America a racist country.

So, Jussie was lauded in media interviews. He spoke passionately about his "truth" and surmised that he was attacked because of his criticism of President Trump.  Frankly, his interviews went beyond smug.  If journalists couldn't see that something was wrong here it was because they didn't care. 

The worst of these interviews was with Robin Roberts from ABC News.  If you can stand to watch it, it's here. "How can you not believe me, it's the truth," Jussie told Roberts. If you don't believe me what does it say about you?  At one point Roberts whispered "Beautiful Jussie!"

Watching the above video where Jussie's "beautiful truth" was taken apart by the Chicago police you start to understand what's going on here. Is Chicago Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson featured in counterpoint to Jussie a white supremacist? Johnson is the Chicago P.D. leader who watches every day as young black people, including children, are being murdered in Chicago. They aren't being killed by racist cops. They are being slaughtered by other blacks.

Jussie and the left screaming about a very minor problem of white racism is a distraction from the genocide Chicago citizens see on their streets every day. More children were shot in Chicago this year than died of Covid nationwide. The silence is deafening. 

The facts in the case were clear. Jussie paid two Nigerian brothers to "fake" beat him up. That's how the brothers testified at trial. They said he did it for media attention. Video of the brothers was captured in the taxi they took to stage the attack and the store where they bought the rope and other materials. Money transfers from Jussie and texts were all there. These weren't strangers. Jussie had a sexual relationship with one of the men and bought drugs from him. Michelle Obama key aide moves to save Jussie

The evidence was overwhelming. But putting Jussie on trial would take all the air out of balloon that insists racist Trump supporters are the problem.  Chicago Prosecutor Kim Foxx's campaign received an astounding $2 million contribution from Billionaire George Soros for her campaign. Soros has funded prosecuting attorneys in cities across the U.S. All of them back selective prosecutions who offer get out of jail free cards for so many violent offenders like the Wauheshaw mass murderer who the New York Times reports mowed down grandmothers and children in the November Christmas parade. 

Chicago is no different. Soros backed District Attorney Foxx refuses to prosecute a huge number of felony cases. Many with political or racial overtones. No wonder smash and grab robberies and murders are epidemic in the Windy City.  So when Foxx insisted charges be dropped against Jussie because the chance of conviction was "uncertain" few were surprised. Did it matter that former First Lady Michelle Obama's top aide had also contacted Foxx on Jussie's behalf?

It looked like the fix was in and Jussie's liberal privilege would save him from jail. But it wasn't enough. A special prosecutor was appointed by a judge to review the case and found obvious "substantial abuses of discretion and operational failures" in the dismissal of the case. Duh!

Thankfully, under the aegis of the special prosecutor the case went ahead and justice came for Jussie. Guilty on five counts for a hoax that spread racial animus and hate across the county. 

The Big Lie, the Media and Racism in America

The biggest victim in Jussie's crime was the "truth" that America is a racist country.  If you have to LIE about it how bad could it be? This isn't the first race hoax to be exposed. These false charges, often met with media acclaim, are much more common than actual racist hate acts. It's no surpise that the U.S. Department of Justice declines to prosecute more than 80% of hate crime charges. 

But this doesn't stop Democrats and their collusive media allies from promoting racial animus and hate. With  more minority voters rejecting the Marxist policy program, hate and fear are all the left has to fall back on. 

Despite this setback expect the Big Lie to continue. Whether it's racism, Trump Russia or climate change, facts and honest discussion take second place to the radical left wing agenda. The only thing that can stop this slide to lunacy are the voters. That is if elections are fair....

Will we see any correction here?
