A "Great Ramadan Offensive?"

In September, the Cybercast New Service warned of a report that Al Queda had put into action a plan for dramatic attacks during Ramadan, which began October 4.

The Bali bombings on October 1 and the bombing outside the Oklahoma University football stadium may have been the first signals of this offensive. With the revelation of a large quantity of explosives and Jihad materials found in bomber Joel Henry Hinrichs' apartment, his Muslim roommates and possible participation at the mosque around the corner, his "suicide" is now widely considered to be a botched bomb attack against the 84,000 fans inside the stadium.

And now the alarm is raised about bomb threats against New York subways....

Are we still doing random searches of grandmothers, and waving Arab looking men carrying suitcases on through so we don't offend anyone?

Reader note: Flopping Aces, who covers the Oklahoma story with his usual tenacity, has moved his page here. His coverage has also been mentioned frequently at Michelle Malkin's page.
