As the car carrying the Royal couple proceeded, windows were smashed. Neither were hurt. The Sun has the story with more photos.

But the real story is that this episode illustrates perfectly what happens when the wheels of the socialist bus start to fall off. Students who depend on the government for access to education suddenly realize that there's no more free lunch. As Margaret Thatcher once said: "The problem with socialism is that eventually you run out of other people's money."

In a state where every citizen is dependent on the government for nearly every aspect of their life, there's bound to be disappointment or worse when that government can no longer meet every need. This is exactly the kind of dependent socialist culture we should do everything in our power to avoid in this country and yet it seems Obama and the Democrats are embracing it!

P.S. Has anyone ever thought that instead of increasing tuition for students that the pay of professors and school administrators should be cut?
