The Crying Game: President George H.W. Bush Gets Emotional for Valentines Day

And he picks up the Presidential Medal of Freedom!

President Barack Obama presents a 2010 Presidential Medal of Freedom to former President George H.W. Bush, Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2011, during a ceremony in the East Room of the White House in Washington.
With all the Reagan hoopla this past week or so it's good to get another reminder about another solid American leader: former President George H.W. Bush. Reagan was a hard act for him to follow but he did it well and with the same grace and class that was passed down to his son George W.

And like Ron and Nancy Reagans The elder Bush's were not only a power couple but a loving one as well. A day earlier, on Valentines Day, Jenna Bush Hager, the granddaughter of George and Barbara Bush and daughter of George W. Bush interviewed her grandparents for the Today Show:

Former president George H.W. Bush choked up on NBC's Today show while reading one of the many love letters he has written wife Barbara over the years -- this one from Jan. 6, 1994, their 49th wedding anniversary.

The ex-president's crying jag drew an "I love you" from the former first lady -- and a crack referring to the equally emotional congressional Republican John Boehner.

"You know what?" Barbara told George. "You could be speaker of the House."
This reminds me of the last time I saw both the President and First Lady Barbara Bush in person. It was at the White House the day after the 1992 election loss to Bill Clinton. The Bushes and Quayles were forced to walk the gauntlet of cheering and flag waving supporters along the entire length of the South Lawn to the mansion. They looked very tired and worn as they ran up the rope line. It was an emotional day for us all. It's good to see that later life has been so kind to them.
Don't you miss them?

Hey! I understand this is sort of off-topic however
I had to ask. Does managing a well-established blog such as yours require
a massive amount work? I'm completely new to writing a blog however I do write in my diary every day. I'd like to start a blog so I will be able to share my personal
experience and thoughts online. Please let me know if you have any kind of suggestions or tips for new aspiring bloggers.
Appreciate it!
