No Justice for Dead Americans in Benghazi

Four scapegoats at Department of State reinstated and still no answers why the Administration failed to act in or prevent Benghazi attack!

After months of paid leave, which amounts to a taxpayer funded vacation, four of the mid level State Department officials cited in the Accountability Review Board report on Benghazi were reinstated by Secretary of State John Kerry.

Thus far, no one has been fired for ignoring repeated warnings from Ambassador Chris Stevens that security was not adequate. And so many unanswered questions about what happened and why remain unanswered. Where are the survivors of the attack? Why have they not come forward to tell what happened that night? What was Obama doing the night the attack occurred?  Answers to those questions and many more remain elusive.

This latest move by the Obama Administration to simply ignore the scandal prompted this response from Rep. Darrell Issa, Chairman of the House Oversight Committee charged with investigating the matter:

“Obama administration officials repeatedly promised the families of victims and the American people that officials responsible for security failures would be held accountable,” Mr. Issa said in a statement. “Instead of accountability, the State Department offered a charade."

The only State Department official punished for his role in the affair was Deputy Ambassador to Libya Gregory Hicks who was demoted for talking to Congressional investigators.

Meanwhile Hillary Clinton, who never spoke to the Accountaiblity Review Board, laughs off any question that there was wrongdoing on her part.

And Democrats insist any questioning of their actions or motives in the affair is nothing but politics. They should know as politics have been motivating their reaction from the night of September 11, 2012 shortly after Obama declared that "Al Queda is on the run."
