Who is on the Run Now? Al Queda or Obama?

Administration closes 21 diplomatic facilities in Arab world with renewed threat of Al Queda attack!

Readers may recall that only last year Obama was going around the country campaigning with the slogan that "Al Queda was on the run." Considering how four Americans were killed in Benghazi last September and flags from our embassies were ripped down in locations across the region it was more appropriate to suggest that Al Queda was on the run straight for us!

Now, with an unprecedented plan to close 21 U.S. embassies and diplomatic facilities this weekend it's pretty clear that Al Queda is getting even stronger.

Who is on the run now?
Of course it wasn't supposed to be this way was it? Obama promised that his election in 2008 would restore America's image around the world. Even now, he still claims that as an accomplishment despite clear evidence to the contrary:

“One of the proudest things of my three years in office is helping to restore a sense of respect for America around the world."  -- Barack Obama, February 2012

Now, with international polls showing opinion of Obama in steep decline and support for America in the Middle East higher during the Bush years the Obama chickens are coming home to roost.

Finally, with the Obama Administration refusing to accept accountability for mistakes, even calling questions over the Benghazi attack a "phony scandal" we know they haven't learned their lesson and we can expect more and perhaps worse debacles to come. America, don't say we didn't warn you because so many of us tried to do just that before last November's election. Now we're stuck!
