|The same people who constantly complain about racism are|
themselves demonstrating that old habits die hard!
Not so if black students do the opposite. At Claremont Colleges in California a student on Facebook advertised for roommates and added "POC [people of color] only. I don’t want to live with any white folks." The following comment was typical:
Resident Assistant and Black Student Union member, Jessica Saint-Fleur (PZ ’18) added to the thread of comments, “White people have cause [sic] so much mf [motherf*cking] trauma on these campuses … why in the world would I want to live with that? Bring that into my home? A place that is supposed to be safe for me?”Again, change the color from white to black and imagine the outrage. But nary a peep this way.
“We don’t want to have to tiptoe around fragile white feelings in a space where we just want to relax and be comfortable,” commented Nina Lee, a Women’s Studies major. “I could live with white people, but I would be far more comfortable living with other poc.”
“White people always mad when they don’t feel included but at the end of the day y’all are damaging asf [as f*ck] and if a POC feels they need to protect themselves from that toxic environment THEY CAN!
Another commenter said "I don’t wanna have a dialogue." That's ironic since she is likely one of the grievance mongers who constantly demand "dialog" for their viewpoint.
Several of those quoted were from an "Africana Studies major." Just what kind of a job do you get with that? Probably will accuse whites of racism when the only job is at Burger King.
Is it any wonder, as the New York Times reports, that more and more alumni donors are saying NO MORE when asked to contribute to former schools? The inmates are running the asylum and there's no end in sight to the insanity!
Discriminating in housing based on race is a violation of the Fair Housing Act. Will these racists be held accountable?
