I was one of ten students at Columbia University in New York City selected for a special doctoral seminar in national security topics led by Zbigniew Brzezinski, Mika at MSNBC's father and former Carter Administration National Security Adviser. Brzezinski was from Poland and a trick to getting a good grade in the discussion of national security topics was to mention the plight of Poland for freedom.
Trump didn't need to get an "A" like I did at Columbia to grasp the fundamental relationship between the Polish experience and our shared western values and history.
On Thursday he spoke to a huge crowd in Warsaw's central square. Standing before the monument to commemorate the Warsaw uprising as the Nazis sought to destroy the Polish spirit he spoke truths that apply to all those who stand for freedom.
TRUMP: I am here today not just to visit an old ally, but to hold it up as an example for others who seek freedom and who wish to summon the courage and the will to defend our civilization. (Applause.) The story of Poland is the story of a people who have never lost hope, who have never been broken, and who have never, ever forgotten who they are. (Applause)
AUDIENCE: Donald Trump! Donald Trump! Donald Trump!
Notice the red "Make America Great Again" hats....
Poland gets it. Trump's values are their values too!
More at the Daily Mail.
Listen as the crowd chants "USA, USA, USA!"
At one point the entire crowd begins chanting "Donald Trump. Donald Trump. Donald Trump!"
If the liars on the left want to tell you the world hates Trump. Let them come to POLAND!!!
