More Dem Hypocricy: Nancy Pelosi Defends Sex Harasser Conyers w/ "Due Process" She Denies to Accused Republicans

The coverup continues....

House Democrat Leader Rep. Nancy Pelosi (CA) showed up on Meet the Press Sunday (transcript) to sing praises for admitted sexual harasser Rep. John Conyers (D-MI). Calling Conyers an "icon" who has "done a great deal to protect women," Pelosi insisted that Conyers had the right to due process and again tried to deflect the damage by referring the matter to the Ethics Committee.

During the interview Pelosi refused to say whether she believed Conyers' accusers and insisted they had the right to their privacy. At the same time she repeatedly charged Roy Moore as being a "child molester" without one shred of verifiable proof.

Interviewer Chuck Todd didn't let her off lightly and repeatedly asked her why the situations was different for Democrats than for Republicans. As it relates to Trump, Todd pointed out how Nancy Pelosi defended Bill Clinton during his impeachment scandal by denouncing the Indepedent Counsel process. Here's what Pelosi said when Bill Clinton was under investigation:
PELOSI 1998: The women of America are just like other Americans in that they value fairness, they value privacy, and do not want to see a person with uncontrolled power, uncontrolled time, uncontrolled, unlimited money investigating the president of the United States.
Pelosi's excuse now to Chuck Todd is that times have changed. Yes, and now there is an "R" after the name of the President!

Only one Democrat Member of Congress, Rep. Kathleen Rice (D-N.Y.)has called on Conyers to resign and pointed out that the Ethics Committee routine is nothing but more coverup. Unlike the phalanx of Republicans demanding Moore stand down in Alabama, Democrats have either been silent or supportive of Conyers.

Later Sunday Conyers stood down as ranking Democrat member of the House Judiciary Committee blaming right wing bloggers for his troubles. Does it sound like he's accepting accountability?

Franken's Creepy Apology Sounds Like Michael Jackson

In his 4th apology Sen. Al Franken (D-MN) says "I’m a warm person; I hug people." People or just hot women? His latest excuse sounds a lot like what Michael Jackson used to say after being charged with child molesting. Does this sound like Franken is taking accountability for his actions?

With all these new revelations we are quickly learning why Dems insist they are the party for women.  All the better to get access to more victims!
