Winning Strategy? Dems Stuck on Crazy w/ Candidates for '18 Midterm Election

It's difficult to imagine a party so far left and out of the mainstream will ever capture the majority of voters in anything but the smallest races!

I recall when Sen. George McGovern was the Democrat nominee for President in 1972 running against Richard Nixon.  McGovern was the darling of the anti-war, hate America left. He got absolutely trounced. Nixon won every state except the District of Columbia and Massachusetts.

Today's McGovern Democrat would be anathema in today's Democrat Party.  They would be regarded as bigots and sellouts and would likely be lynched by Antifa for crimes against the left wing fascist goal of a neo-Marxist one party state.

This new breed of ultra radical Democrat is pulling the one proud Dem Party away from it's roots and into a bizarro world of left wing craziness. Even Democrats who were previously more mainstream have seen the writing on the wall.

Take Hillary Clinton as one example. She praised an 11 year old girl for "courage to exercise your right to protest injustice" for kneeling at her school during the Pledge of Allegiance. Imagine what Hillary would say if the child knelt instead to pray!

And New York Governor Andrew Cuomo. No longer the icon of Democrat appeal like his father Mario. Andrew said recently that "America was never that great." Too bad Mario is no longer alive. He might remind his son about his families humble roots as shop owners in Queens rising all the way to the top. But still, America isn't so hot?

Vote for the pink tutu or the woman fighter pilot?

In Arizona, Martha McSally for the GOP faces Democrat rival, Kyrsten Sinema. After the 9/11 attacks McSally was fighting the Taliban over Afghanistan. Sinema was protesting the war in a pink tutu. Who would you vote for?

Ocasio Cortez takes the cake on crazy and ignorant!

In Florida, Dems gave the primary nod to Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum in the race for governor. Gillum problems with corruption, crime and incompetence in office pale in comparison to the far left kook ideas he supports.

But since Russian loving Bernie Sanders (flew the Soviet flag in Vermont) isn't on the ballot this time around my vote for top kook, krazy Dem goes to newcomer Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. In one interview after another she reveals a glaring ignorance of public policy and basic civics that is startling for someone who wants to lead the country in a new direction. She doesn't even know what direction she would go.

Democrats seem to think American voters are bigger idiots than their candidates. That might be true of the Democrat base, but one thing I've learned from decades in grass roots politics is that there is a basic common sense among most voters that allows them to know crazy and stupid when they see it. This fall, the pink tutu, angry left wing fascist, ignorant or corrupt socialist crowd may have to learn that lesson.... AGAIN!
