Q: Will Dem Senators Who Demanded, and Got, Week Delay of Kavanugh Confirmation for FBI Investigation Vote for Kav if FBI Finds Nothing?

A: Of course not. This isn't about justice for a wronged woman or anything else. GOP fools to go along!

All those preening Dems on the Senate Judiciary Committee demanded OVER AND OVER AND OVER that we give the FBI a SEVENTH CHANCE to investigate Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. Will ONE of them vote for him if the FBI finds nothing? Who wants to hold their breath waiting for that to happen.

Everyone, including the self-righteous Democrats who SAT on the charges against Kavanaugh for 7 WEEKS, know that the FBI can't come to any conclusions even if you gave them a year.

What are they going to investigate? Where was this alleged incident said to occur? The accuser doesn't know. When was it? The accuser doesn't remember. Every Senator knows, as Senator Joe Biden did when he chaired the confirmation hearings of Clarence Thomas that the FBI does not resolve a conflict such as this:

Once again, the GOP has stepped in it. In the name of "fairness" they have allowed this charade to continue. Where's the fairness for Judge Kavanaugh and his family? What will be the next demand for "fairness" when this transparent ploy flops? Give in to this kind of tactic and you just encourage it.

Did you see Sen. Leahy (D-VT) question Judge Kavanaugh about what the content of his high school yearbook? Is this the standard now? Will Dems like Corey Booker who bragged about "snatching some snatch" and groping an underage girl be held to that same standard? Not for a moment.

And what about the chief accuser? The GOP purposely did not bring up her past. She has one and it's a doozy. Should Ford's yearbook be entered into the record as evidence? Do Democrats really want to defend racism, promiscuity and drunkenness on the part of their star witness?

I can predict the outcome of this pause for an investigation with absolute certainty. Dems will never accept ANY investigation from the FBI that clears Kavanaugh or fails to corroborate the charges against him. It won't make a bit of difference. But meanwhile, our democracy itself is being held hostage by a Star Chamber of charlatans and hypocrites!
