When will elected Democrats be held to the same standard they demand of Trump?
Imagine if a knife wielding Trump supporter went after Democrat Rep. Maxine Waters. It would be the top story on every newscast. But when a knife wielding Democrat, perhaps motivated by Waters' command for supporters to harass Republicans wherever they are found, attacks GOP congressional candidate Rudy Peters, national media was largely silent.
Just as you didn't hear much if anything about the firebombing of a GOP campaign office last week or the threat from a Democrat Socialist twitter feed to commit mass murder at a meeting of Trump supporters in Washington, DC.
The media, and the Democrats are in total denial about the danger. It's as if the near fatal shooting of House GOP Whip Steven Scalise at the hands of a Bernie Sanders supporter never happened. Meanwhile, the number of threats continues to climb.
And it's not just Republican officials. Violence by the far left group ANTIFA is also spreading. Try to invite a conservative speaker to visit your college and see what happens.
Rep. Maxine Waters claims "God is on our side" as she urges her deranged followers to take action. Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi speaks of "uprisings all over the country" in opposition to Trump policies. If Trump or any Republican spoke this way the media roar of condemnation would be deafening. But as violence against Republicans grows we hear nothing but crickets.
Some day someone else is going to get hurt and perhaps killed. If that victim is a Republican it will be a two day story. If someone decides to give Maxine Waters a taste of her own medicine it will be Trump's fault and weeks of calls for his impeachment.
Do far left Dems want a real war? They better think that through carefully before they take this latest trend too far!
