I thought it was curious when President Trump held that huge rally in New Mexico last week then I read this: "Poll: GOP Could Rebound in Orange County and New Mexico." Then this really got my attention:
We already saw how in special congressional elections in North Carolina the "blue wave" that swept congressional elections in 2018 seems to have gone back out to sea. These stories are further evidence that the dynamic is once again shifting. The change has particular relevance for congressional elections where Democrats who won in 2018 in close races will be hard pressed to hold those seats. But perhaps more important is the impact on the presidential race. Adding New Mexico and Minnesota to Trump's Electoral College win column would assure his re-election. And since Democrat candidates have been so aggressive in attacking fracking, oil and gas and mining which is so vital in key states like Pennsylvania and Texas Dems have little chance to take those states either.
Even though the Dems media campaign to accuse Trump of every crime under the sun is failing as MSNBC and CNN hemorrhage viewers that's all the Dems have left. It's unlikely to be a winning strategy. Hate and lies can only get you so far!
