Thank You "The Chosen One" aka President Trump For Sparing Me Worst of #HurricaneDorian

Ridiculous?  If you're going to blame Trump for hurricanes, then he gets credit when they turn out to be more benign!

Hurricane Dorian pulled away from Mike's America with little more than a whimper.  Light winds and rain were the only evidence a storm was here. But we had three days of over hyped warnings and state mandatory evacuations which caused much more disruption than the actual storm.

Grocery stores are now re-opening and those residents who did evacuate are finding no hindrance to their return.  Only once in my 23 years of coastal living have we had a serious storm and that was Hurricane Matthew in 2016.

There are residents in the area without power and concern further up the coast for major flooding and power outage as the storm inches closer to shore.  But for Mike's America and his neighbors the threat has passed.

There's one person we have to thank for our salvation:

While hate-filled left wingers were hoping the hurricane would devastate Trump's home in South Florida and have said that hurricanes are a punishment to states that voted for Trump the voters of Florida, Georgia and southern South Carolina can be proud they voted for Trump.

It's as if he raised his hand to the storm and deflected it's path away from the supporters in these states!

And if any Trump hater doesn't like it, stop saying Trump is to blame for hurricanes.  There is NO connection between climate change and hurricanes!
It is common to see claims that hurricane-related inland rainfall and flooding has increased due to climate change. This is not the view presented in recent assessments. NOAA concludes “an anthropogenic influence has not been formally detected for hurricane precipitation,” but finds it likely that increases will occur this century. Similarly, the WMO concluded, “no observational studies have provided convincing evidence of a detectable anthropogenic influence specifically on hurricane-related precipitation,” but also that an increase should be expected this century. The U.S. National Climate Assessment concurred, explaining that there is agreement on predictions for a future increase in hurricane-related rainfall, but “a limiting factor for confidence in the results is the lack of a supporting detectable anthropogenic contribution in observed tropical cyclone data.”
The same people who can't predict the path of a hurricane with any certainty 24 hours in advance are hardly those who inspire confidence in predictions of climate change generations from now.

But at least we have The Chosen One to protect us!
